The race riot … and the media cover-up

Colin Flaherty uncovers details when reporters, police go silent

(Editor’s note: Colin Flaherty has done more reporting than any other journalist on what appears to be a nationwide trend of skyrocketing black-on-white crime, violence and abuse. WND features these reports to counterbalance the virtual blackout by the rest of the media due to their concerns that reporting such incidents would be inflammatory or even racist. WND considers it racist not to report racial abuse solely because of the skin color of the perpetrators or victims.)

EDITOR’S NOTE: The links in the following report may contain offensive language.

After looking at hundreds of cases of black mob violence in more than 70 cities all over the country in the last three years, I have found that racial violence is far more widespread than I had ever imagined.

As is the denial of it.

Which is also what the great Thomas Sowell said after reading my book, “White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence and how the media ignore it.”

But you do have to know how to find it.

So let’s look at one case: How the press ignored it; how the police denied it; and how we figured out what really happened on Aug. 5 when 800 people were fighting, firing guns, destroying property and “confronting” Delaware State Police at 2 a.m.

First, contrary to what a reporter for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch told one of my readers, you cannot just assume the crowd is black. No matter what part of town the riot takes place.

In this case, the violence and mayhem took place in an office-park complex in a usually quiet section of a suburb of Wilmington. The local paper did not give us much to go on.

When troopers arrived, they could hear the gunfire and were confronted by a large crowd of between 500 to 800 patrons who were attending a back-to-college party being held there in a warehouse facility.

Back to school? I had images of book bags and pencils.

No one had been arrested and no names were reported.

First stop, the police. I called and emailed: “What happened? Was this a case of black mob violence?”

No reply. I get that a lot. It is a red flag. But red flags are not proof.

I posted comments both at the website of the news story and Craigslist, asking if anyone knew anything. Sometimes it works. This time, nothing.

But I had a radio show coming up, and the liberal morning host had been talking trash about my book. He had not read it, but he did not believe there was an epidemic of racial violence in America. Anyone who disagreed was scorned.

A reader said it best: People who deny racial violence when confronted with overwhelming evidence of it “are suffering from infantile omnipotence. If it didn’t happen to them, it just didn’t happen.”

Lot of that going around.

One way or another, I wanted to nail this story. If 800 Italian or Asian or American Indian or Eskimo people were rioting, shooting guns, destroying property and confronting police, that would be an even bigger story. A man bites dog story.

So I contacted the police again. This time with a wave of emails and phone calls. Finally one reply. No one took any notice of the “racial or ethnic background” of the 800 people creating all the mayhem.

Fair enough.

Was there a police report? “No.”

No surprise there. As far as police were concerned, 800 people on the streets firing guns, destroying property and fighting never happened.

The newspapers did have an address: 200 Lisa Drive. Google Earth had a picture of the front of the building, but there was no name.

I ran that through several databases and came up with a Pentecostal Church. Bingo!, I thought. A church party that got out of hand. It’s called an “investigative hypothesis” for those not familiar with the reporting racket.

False alarm: The church had come and gone several years before.

But I did come across a real estate website to rent the property. Calls and emails to a high-end commercial real estate brokerage went unanswered. Again.

More red flags. No one wants to talk about racial violence in their town. They just don’t.

The search continued. Finally I hit it. Pictures and details of the big party – with hundreds and hundreds of photos of that party and others. With lots of the required flashing of gang signs and obscene gestures.

A Facebook page for “FamEntertainment,” a party company with 1,291 followers. And a party Twitter stream. And a website with info on other parties at the site.

And 200 Lisa Drive?

This dull warehouse was transformed into the Grand Re-opening of Spot 200, a professionally produced party, with lots of lights and cool props; promoted by and for black people. The same people had the same kind of party one year before at the same place with the same result: Fighting. Shooting. Property destruction. Big police response. One person shot.

I left messages at all the online places, including individual messages to many of those in attendance. Nothing.

As to the “back to school” angle, the party company sent buses to several black colleges within 50 miles.

Along with the online invitations were several warnings telling party goers to behave properly or they will get kicked out of the warehouse and not invited back. “No Drama Tonight If you getting saucyy, Make sure you act right,” said @Amazing_Fey.

No one listened.

The police were befuddled. They even made a plea in the local paper, asking anyone with information to call it in. Or call CrimeStoppers and collect a reward.

The police probably did not read the part of the party invitations that said “dress nice” because “WE ON MOVIE STATUS TONIGHT!!” Or else they would have seized the movies as evidence.

All this happened two weeks after a Presbyterian minister was attacked by a mob of black people in Wilmington.

So we talked about it on the radio on Friday afternoon, Aug. 17. Including FamEntertainment’s plans for another big party at Spot 200 for the following evening.

We also talked about a member of the Wilmington City Council who said anyone who opposed Barack Obama was a racist. And a prominent local black minister who said that black mob violence is due to 400 years of oppression.

By Friday night, anyone subscribing to their Facebook or Twitter stream received the following message: The party was canceled.

But Saturday night, Aug. 25, the back to school party is moving to Dover, Del., near the campus of Delaware State University, a black college.

If you are in the neighborhood, tell ‘em Colin sent you.

In the meantime, maybe you can help me out: Local news reports in Erie, Pa., last week talked about crowds of “unruly teenagers” (big red flag) fighting, destroying property and shooting guns during the Celebrate Erie festival.

Anyone know anything?

Obama Issues Racist Executive Order

obamaeoOn Thursday Barack Obama Issued a racist Executive Order. The Order titled, White House Initiative on Educational Excellence for African Americans sets forth a new policy for a group of people that is pretty vast is just taken at face value. After all, this could also refer to many whites because Africa is a continent, not a nation. However, the people in view here are those with dark skin, not Caucasians.

Here’s Obama’s policy:

Over the course of America’s history, African American men and women have strengthened our Nation, including by leading reforms, overcoming obstacles, and breaking down barriers. In the less than 60 years since the Brown v. Board of Education decision put America on a path toward equal educational opportunity, America’s educational system has undergone a remarkable transformation, and many African American children who attended the substandard segregated schools of the 1950s have grown up to see their children attend integrated elementary and secondary schools, colleges, and universities.

However, substantial obstacles to equal educational opportunity still remain in America’s educational system. African Americans lack equal access to highly effective teachers and principals, safe schools, and challenging college-preparatory classes, and they disproportionately experience school discipline and referrals to special education. African American student achievement not only lags behind that of their domestic peers by an average of two grade levels, but also behind students in almost every other developed nation. Over a third of African American students do not graduate from high school on time with a regular high school diploma, and only four percent of African American high school graduates interested in college are college-ready across a range of subjects. An even greater number of African American males do not graduate with a regular high school diploma, and African American males also experience disparate rates of incarceration.

Significantly improving the educational outcomes of African Americans will provide substantial benefits for our country by, among other things, increasing college completion rates, productivity, employment rates, and the number of African American teachers. Enhanced educational outcomes lead to more productive careers, improved economic opportunity, and greater social well-being for all Americans. Complementing the role of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) in preparing generations of African American students for successful careers, and the work of my Administration’s separate White House Initiative on Historically Black Colleges and Universities, this new Initiative’s focus on improving all the sequential levels of education will produce a more effective educational continuum for all African American students.

To reach the ambitious education goals we have set for our Nation, as well as to ensure equality of access and opportunity for all, we must provide the support that will enable African American students to improve their level of educational achievement through rigorous and well-rounded academic and support services that will prepare them for college, a career, and a lifetime of learning.

So we are going to do something different for black children than for whites? Hmmmm, I’m thinking there needs to be a new organization called the NAAWP (National Association for the Advancement of White People). I’m sure that would get the movers and shakers in our nation talking. Why is it that there can be special treatment for a particular ethnic group and it not be considered racist, but if I wanted to form the “National Society of Whities” it would be?

The EO’s mission states:

(1) The Initiative will help to restore the United States to its role as the global leader in education; strengthen the Nation by improving educational outcomes for African Americans of all ages; and help ensure that African Americans receive a complete and competitive education that prepares them for college, a satisfying career, and productive citizenship.

(2) The Initiative will complement and reinforce the Historically Black Colleges and Universities Initiative established by Executive Order 13532 of February 26, 2010, and together, they both will support enhanced educational outcomes for African Americans at every level of the American education system, including early childhood education; elementary, secondary, and postsecondary education; career and technical education; and adult education.

(3) To help expand educational opportunities, improve educational outcomes, and deliver a complete and competitive education for all African Americans.

All of this is not about “restoring the United States to its role as the global leader in education.” It is about preferential treatment based on color of skin and even worse it’s at the federal level. The federal government has to be the worst place to think about setting policy for education. Because of the federal government’s intervention in education America now lags behind Russia and Finland in literacy. We also fall well behind many countries in math and science.

By the way, lots of nice new shiny official titles will be given out and lots of bureaucratic committees and such will be formed. I assume Barack Obama will also claim that this creates jobs for which he’ll pat himself on the back. This is a serious demonstration of racism in the White House and yes I’m calling the President of the United States a racist. I’m sure Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson and the Congressional Black Caucus will be 1005 behind this special treatment of an ethnic group.

Editor’s note: I am not racist. I used the NAAWP and the National Society of Whities in jest.

Of course Mr. Brown was jesting! One can’t even do that without having to qualify it so that there won’t be an unbridled attack on an author for his use of tongue in cheek. I’m up to here with the wimping and whining of a class of perpetual victims. What, exactly, do they really want?
I know the answer because once I asked that question. I was told that the phrase, “We shall overcome,” heard all over the ’60’s was about over-populating whites so that control would come into the hands of a growing group of black racists.  At the time that label was vehemently resisted, and the explanation was that a race without power can not be racist.  In other words, no power, no racist . . . behavior . . . just plenty of hate and intimidation and fear tactics.   I don’t have to say that that notion is bull  s*#t, and is nothing more than a way to act out without accountability–known as righteous indignation  No one could have been more empathetic to a wronged people than I, a Blackfoot Sioux.  But really–enough is enough, and all this spoiled-brat behavior is begging for a whippin’–so to speak.  The extraordinary lack of pride and self-respect within that community never lets up on flaunting the victim label, and it’s starting to change my mind about who really deserves empathy or sympathy.  And what about the rest of us and our righteous indignation?!
I truly do hurt for those who actually suffered at the hands of racism like in the photos below.

From An Email: Everyday Items Made In The USA

Subject: Made in the USA – Very Encouraging

Made in the USA -Very Encouraging

ACE HARDWARE – Made in the USA – Very Encouraging

Costco sells Goodyear wiper blades for almost half the price that you will pay on the outside and they are made in the U.S.A. Read and do the following.

Unfortunately our politicians and top CEO’s have pushed for trade to China and Mexico for years so Americans are now out of work.

Did you know that there is no electric coffee maker made in the US and that the only kitchen appliances made in the US is Viking? This information came from the a report by Diane Sawyer. Hopefully this has changed or will soon!!

I DIDN’T KNOW HALLMARK CARDS WERE MADE IN CHINA! That is also why I don’t buy cards at Hallmark anymore, They are made in China and are more expensive! I buy them at Dollar Tree – 50 cents each and made in USA

I have been looking at the blenders available on the Internet. Kitchen Aid is MADE IN the US. Top of my list already…

Yesterday I was in Wal Mart looking for a wastebasket. I found some made in China for $6.99. I didn’t want to pay that much so I asked the lady if they had any others. She took me to another

department and they had some at $2.50 made in USA. They are just as good. Same as a kitchen rug I needed. I had to look, but I found some made in the USA – what a concept! -and they were $3.00 cheaper.

We are being brainwashed to believe that everything that comes from China and Mexico is cheaper. Not so.

One Light Bulb at a Time..

I was in Lowe’s the other day and just out of curiosity, I looked at the hose attachments. They were all made in China. The next day I was in Ace Hardware and just for the heck of it I checked the hose attachments there. They were made in USA.

Start looking, people . . …In our current economic situation, every little thing we buy or do affects someone else – most often, their job.

My grandson likes Hershey’s candy. I noticed, though, that it is now marked “made in Mexico.” I don’t buy it anymore.

My favorite toothpaste

Colgate is made in Mexico…now I have switched to Crest. or use baking soda and salt mixture

You have to read the labels on everything.

This past weekend I was at Kroger . . . I needed 60W light bulbs and Bounce dryer sheets.

I was in the light bulb aisle, and right next to the GE brand I normally buy — was an off-brand labeled, “Everyday Value.” I picked up both types of bulbs and compared them: they were the same except for the price . . .the GE bulbs cost more than the Everyday Value brand, but the thing that surprised me the most was that that GE was made in MEXICO and the Everyday Value brand was made in – you guessed it – the USA at a company in Cleveland, Ohio.

It’s Way past time to start finding and buying products you use every day that are made right here.

So, on to the next aisle: Bounce Dryer Sheets… yep, you guessed it, Bounce cost more money and is made in Canada. The Everyday Value brand cost less, and was MADE IN THE USA! I did laundry yesterday and the dryer

sheets performed just like the Bounce Free I have been using for years, at almost half the price.

My challenge to you is to start reading the labels when you shop for everyday things and see what you can find that is made in the USA -the job you save may be your own or your neighbor’s!

If you accept the challenge, pass this on to others in your address book so we can all start buying American, one light bulb at a time!

Stop buying from overseas companies – you’re sending the jobs there. (We should have awakened a decade ago….)

Let’s get with the program and help our fellow Americans keep their jobs and create more jobs here in the USA.

I passed this on .. .. . will you??? If you care about American workers, you will pass it on.

Rock star says Obama behind shootings

‘He’s staging all of these murders, like the Fast and Furious thing’

Published: 4 days ago

Megadeth singer and guitarist Dave Mustaine, who previously claimed Barack Obama was born outside the United States and should be impeached, now is charging Obama staged the Fast and Furious scandal and recent shootings.

Earlier he told George Stroumboulopoulos on the Canadian television show “The Hour” that he believes Obama was not born in the U.S. Then, in an interview with Infowars  posted by the Obama Release Your Records website, he asked, “Why hasn’t somebody moved to impeach this man?”

Now, according to a report in Billboard, he’s gone much further.

The report said Mustaine made the comments at a recent concert in Singapore.

“Back in my country, my president is trying to pass a gun ban,” he said. “So he’s staging all of these murders, like the Fast and Furious thing down at the border and Aurora, Colorado, all the people that were killed there. And now the beautiful people at the Sikh temple.”

The original video with the statement was pulled from YouTube, but another short clip also contains the statement.

Mustaine continued, “I don’t know where I’m going to live if America keeps going the way it’s going because it looks like it’s turning into Nazi America.”

Obama did endorse the idea of a federal assault weapons ban after shootings in Colorado, where on July 20 a gunman shot and killed 12 people in a screening of a Batman movie. Dozens more were hurt. Then on Aug. 5, a white supremacist went to a Sikh Temple in Oak Creek, Wis., and killed six. The Colorado suspect, James Holmes, is in custody. The Wisconsin suspect, Wade Page, apparently shot and killed himself.

A report in the Los Angeles Times accused the singer known for fronting “the thrash-metal band Megadeth” of developing an affinity for “a different kind of metal – namely tinfoil.”

Eonline reported Mustaine also said: “I was talking to J.D., our promoter here tonight. What a great guy. I was saying, ‘I don’t know where I’m gonna live if America keeps going the way it’s going because it looks like it’s turning into Nazi America. And he said, ‘Move down here to Singapore.’”

Mustaine’s latest:

In the interview at Inforwars, he raised the issue of impeachment:

“Why hasn’t somebody moved to impeach this man,” he asked in the interview with Infowars.

“With all of the proof about his birth certificate being a fake, and you see the signs in Kenya saying, ‘The birthplace of Barack Obama.’ Hello! Come on, guys. How stupid are we right now?”

He commented on Obama’s recent statement about small business owners, “You didn’t build that,” saying, “What’s sad about all this, this is no joking matter.”

During the earlier interview on “The House,” Mustaine called himself a “lesser of evil” kind of guy.

He added he had a lot of questions about Obama but “certainly not where he was born.”

“I know he was born somewhere else than America,” Mustaine said.

When the host brought up Obama’s history, the rocker asked, “How come he was invisible until he became … whatever he was in Illinois?”

Stroumboulopoulos concluded Mustaine must be a “birther.”

Mustaine replied, “I don’t want to talk about my president.”

He said his song “We The People,” on his new “13″ album, sums up what is happening in America: “People having their savings stripped away, Wall Street run amok, $500 million given to Solyndra when the Obama administration knew it was going under.”

“I’ll have to do some more homework where Obama came from now,” he said.

Mustaine, with Metallica for a time in the 1980s before launching Megadeth, has gone through several battles with drugs and alcohol. He’s also sustained neck injuries from the “head-banging” of hard rock, as well as an arm injury.

He explained on “The Hour” he was baptized as a Lutheran as a child, but then his mother became a Jehovah’s Witness.

“They don’t celebrate Christmas. That sucked,” he said. “They don’t celebrate birthdays, which sucked. I couldn’t have friends that were normal people, because they were ‘of the world.’

“I felt really empty. The drugs weren’t doing it. The alcohol wasn’t doing it,” he said.

It was like “peeing in your pants on a cold night. It feels good for a little while, but it’s not a long-term solution.”.

He sought out friends he knew to be familiar with Christianity.

“I started to make amends to people I had harmed. I am enemy-free right now, which is a great feeling,” he said.

Congressmen to Obama: See you in court

Charge mandate ‘an issue negatively impacting employers of all faiths’

Published: 17 hours ago

Dozens of members of Congress have signed up to back a challenge to Obamacare’s mandate that employers provide contraceptive services – including abortifacients – to employees under their health care programs.

That requirement has been imposed even on employers whose religious faith forbids their participation in the deaths of unborn infants.

A number of lawsuits have been filed over the issue, one federal judge already has halted enforcement against a Denver company, and the government voluntarily has waived enforcement for now in a case brought on behalf of a Michigan company.

Now the American Center for Law and Justice is representing 79 members of Congress with amicus briefs filed in 12 separate lawsuits brought by more than 40 Catholic organizations suing over the requirement.

The plaintiffs in the cases include the Archdiocese of New York, Notre Dame, the Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of Chicago and others.

According to lawyers handling the friend-of-the-court briefs, the cases challenge the Obama administration’s demand that employers cover sterilization, prescription contraceptives, abortion-inducing drugs and related patient education and counseling services in their health insurance plans.

Edward White, senior counsel for activist legal team, said, “It is essential to defeat the HHS mandate. The mandate devastates the religious freedom of all employers seeking to comply with their religious beliefs.”

He continued, “This is not just an issue negatively impacting Catholics. This is an issue negatively impacting employers of all faiths.”

In the briefs submitted in the cases backing the Catholic organizations, the ACLJ opposes the federal government’s motions to dismiss the 12 lawsuits. The briefs were submitted with requests that the courts accept them for filing.

The briefs explain the mandate runs counter to America’s long and proud tradition of accommodating the religious beliefs and practices of all its citizens. The briefs contend that the mandate imposes an unconstitutional burden on individuals and organizations, who firmly oppose having to subsidize, provide, and/or facilitate activities and services that are contrary to their religious beliefs.

The documents have been posted online.

Just hours earlier, it was announced that Alliance Defending Freedom attorneys filed another federal lawsuit against the Obama administration on behalf of two evangelical Christian colleges: Grace College and Seminary in Indiana and Biola University in California.

It was the latest to challenge the administration’s mandate that faith-based employers provide insurance coverage for abortion-inducing drugs at no cost to employees regardless of religious or moral objections.

“Christian colleges should remain free to operate according to their deeply held beliefs. Punishing religious people and organizations for freely exercising their faith is an assault on our most fundamental American freedoms,” said Alliance Defending Freedom Senior Counsel Gregory S. Baylor. “This mandate leaves religious employers with no real choice: you must either comply and abandon your religious freedom and conscience, or resist and be taxed for your faith. Every American should know that a government with the power to do this to anyone can do this – and worse – to everyone.”

“The Obama administration’s mandate forces us to act against our own doctrinal statement, which upholds the sanctity of human life,” said Biola University President Barry H. Corey. “It unjustly intrudes on our religious liberty as protected under the U.S. Constitution and makes a mockery of our attempts to live our lives according to our faith convictions, time-honored and long protected.”

ADF attorneys previously filed three other lawsuits against the mandate: one on behalf of Geneva College and The Seneca Hardwood Lumber Company in Pennsylvania, one on behalf of Louisiana College in Louisiana, and one on behalf of Hercules Industries in Colorado, in which a federal judge issued an order preventing the mandate from being enforced against the family-run business. The lawsuits represent a large cross-section of Protestants and Catholics who object to the mandate.

Also this week, the the American Center for Law and Justice filed a request for an injunction halting application of the mandate against a Missouri company.

The brief argues that the government already has determined that the mandate is a “burden” on religious rights.

“In a press release issued on Jan. 20, 2012, announcing the finalization of the mandate and the temporary safe harbor period for nonprofit entities that object to contraceptive services, defendant [Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen] Sebelius opined that the temporary reprieve ‘strikes the appropriate balance between respecting religious freedom and increasing access to important preventative services.’

“Subsequently, in a press release issued on July 31, 2012, Sebelius stated that ‘the Obama administration will continue to work with all employers to give them the flexibility and resources they need to implement the health care law in a way that protects women’s health while making common-sense accommodations for values like religious liberty.’”

The legal brief, filed in U.S. District court for the Eastern District of Missouri, continued. “The defendants cannot make a straight-faced argument in this litigation that the mandate does not impose a substantial burden on the exercise of religious beliefs. Indeed, the defendants have postponed for a year the application of regulations that purportedly advance a compelling governmental interest solely because of the burden the defendants themselves recognize that these regulation impose on the exercise of religion.

“Clearly, nothing but a burden of a ‘substantial’ nature could justify such a postponement,” the brief said.

The injunction request was filed on behalf of Frank R. O’Brien and O’Brien Industrial Holdings LLC, a company based in St. Louis. O’Brien is chairman of the company that explores, mines and processes raw materials, exporting to 40 nations.

The Michigan case is being pursued by the Thomas More Law Center on behalf of Ann Arbor, Mich.-based Weingartz Supply Co. and Legatus, the nation’s largest organization of top Catholic business leaders.

In the most recent filing there, attorneys for Weingartz said the Obama administration either doesn’t care about or doesn’t like Catholics so much it is forcing them to choose between their beliefs or the federal law,.

“The defendants offer numerous secular and even religious exemptions to the HHS mandate, but fail to offer the same respect to the Catholic beliefs of the plaintiffs – showing that defendants either care so little about those professing Catholic beliefs that they will not be bothered to address their concerns or showing that defendants are patently discriminating against and disrespecting those holding Catholic beliefs,” said the brief filed this week in support of a preliminary injunction that would protect the plaintiffs while the case moves through the courts,” the filing said.

There, the government has waived application of the requirement because of the court case.

And leaders of of a multitude of religious-advocacy groups are warning of the Obamacare contraception mandate consequences for business owners of faith:

  • Larry Cirignano, president of Faithful Catholic Citizens: “Give up your religion or go bankrupt. This is not a mandate; it is an ultimatum. Buy insurance and kill babies or go bankrupt fighting us. Not all of us can afford lawyers to fight this ‘mandate.’”

  • Matt Smith, president of Catholic Advocate: “Aug. 1 will be remembered as the day our most cherished liberty was thrown in a government dumpster and hauled away. A day when family owned small businesses were forced to abandon their religious beliefs to provide products and services for free. And if they don’t, they will be taxed and fined at a time when job creators are struggling with enough costs and bureaucratic red-tape at every level of government just to stay in business. While the courts have provided a reprieve for one family business in Colorado, the government will never be able to repair the broken conscience of thousands of others until this mandate is removed.”

  • Brent Bozell, chairman of ForAmerica: “August 1st is a day that will live in infamy for the First Amendment and the fundamental freedoms and rights we as a people have enjoyed since the founding of our nation. The HHS mandate imposed on the American people is the beginning of the end of freedom as America has known it and loved it. August 1st marks the day when many family owned and operated businesses lose their rights to exercise their faith in their daily lives. The government has told them – either comply with this mandate in violation of your faith and do what we tell you, or you will pay crippling faith fines to the federal government. With the stroke of a pen, the Obama administration has shredded the First Amendment and the Constitution right before our eyes.”

  • Grace-Marie Turner, president of the Galen Institute: “The Obama administration’s assault on religious liberty is taking root … Failure to comply with the mandate will result in penalties that could cost business millions of dollars. The administration clearly did not reach a much-vaunted ‘accommodation’ with business owners who strongly oppose the mandate and believe it is a clear violation of their constitutional protection of religious liberty. The HHS mandate forces business owners to choose between following their religious beliefs or obedience to the federal government. The Obama administration clearly believes the government is supreme and that individuals and businesses must bow to its dictates or suffer severe consequences. We know that Obamacare is wrong for America. The HHS anti-conscience mandate is clear evidence of why the law violates the most fundamental principles upon which our country is founded.”

  • Gary Marx, executive director of the Faith & Freedom Coalition: “Confidence in the system and hope for religious liberty was mildly restored when a federal district judge issued a temporary injunction blocking Barack Obama’s health-care mandate from compelling a business to provide insurance coverage of sterilization, contraception, and abortion-inducing drugs. This is certainly a victory, but the fact that it only applies to one company means the federal government is still going to force millions of Americans to choose between having health insurance or their conscience and faith. With an administration intent on suppressing religious liberty, we can expect a historic turnout of voters of faith show up in November.”

  • Penny Nance, president and CEO of Concerned Women for America: “The only solution that has been provided to the majority of Americans is to stand up and fight for their religious rights by refusing to comply or battling in court. … We must remember the wise words of Thomas Jefferson, ‘All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.’ To force religious groups to deny their deeply held convictions is not called balance; it is called tyranny.”

  • Jeanne Monahan, director of the Family Research Council’s Center for Human Dignity: “Today as a result of this initial implementation of the HHS mandate, the relationship between the separation of church and state is critically changed. Americans can no longer follow their consciences or religious dictates on issues as critical as abortion-inducing drugs. Organizations such as Wheaton College, or businesses such as Weingartz Supply of Ann Arbor, Mich.,will be forced to violate their consciences. On this sad day Americans have no ‘choice’ in this matter.”

  • David Stevens, MD and CEO of the Christian Medical Association: “What will stop this administration, with its radical pro-abortion agenda, from further undermining conscience rights and pursuing policies that effectively force out of medicine physicians with life-honoring convictions? Who will keep government panels from effectively denying physicians and patients choice about what are the most effective and appropriate medicines, surgeries and treatments? We call on Congress to turn back this law’s assault on our freedoms and restore American values and constitutional principles in health care.”

  • Paul E. Rondeau, executive director of American Life League: “History tragically teaches us that if our government can abolish one constitutional right, then all constitutional rights are put in jeopardy. This path sets a dangerous and foolish precedent that First Amendments rights such as freedom of speech, association, freedom of the press and the rights to assemble and petition the government may be just as easily curtailed in the future. We call on all citizens to tell their elected representatives that this erosion of rights must not stand.”

  • Kristin Hawkins, executive director of Students for Life of America: “Today marks the beginning of the end of religious and conscience rights in America. As an employer, I am forced to make a false choice between providing a vital service to my employees and violating my conscience and values. The abortion-pill mandate is an egregious attack upon my rights, as well as the rights of all people of values and faith in America.”

Anti-Obama film blows out box office

‘The largest one-week expansion in independent film history’

Jerome, please, stop with the bi-sexual and married claims regarding Obama.  Don’t get me wrong, I am not his fan or his constituent!   However, don’t you realize how far-fetched this sounds, even if it turns out to be true?  This is causing you to lose credibility in all areas, where up to this point, you have given us substantive information about this administration.  The “proof” you provide to substantiate the accusation requires too big a leap.  It shows nothing except a man wearing what looks like a wedding band, and it doesn’t come close to proving your premise.   Let this one go until sometime down the road, at least.  People are not ready to hear just anything–there’s too much on the plates as it is!

A first-run film that casts new light on Barack Obama’s radical roots already is setting box-office records while an upcoming release that could also unsettle the White House is expected to draw a strong audience.

On the eve of the Republican National Convention, “2016: Obama’s America” is scheduled for showing in 1,074 theaters, approximately one of every four theaters in the U.S., said Jason Jones, president of Movie to Movement, the non-profit organization promoting the film.

Jones told WND it’s the largest one-week expansion of an independent film in history.

He noted that 35 percent of all tickets sold Thursday on, the No. 1 online movie ticket sales company, were for “2016.”

The movie drawing record crowds began with Dinesh D’Souza’s “The Roots of Obama’s Rage.” Get it now at WND’s Superstore

Jones told WND he expects the audience for the film to grow all the way to the Nov. 6 election.

“We started at a single theater in Houston, Texas,” Jones said. “It was a huge success, grossing $43,000 on one screen in a week, making it a sure bet for expansion.”

Last week, “2016” had the second highest average box office sales of films in wide release, beating many high-budget films, including “The Dark Knight Rises” and “The Bourne Legacy.” It came in in just behind “Expendables 2.”

Jones also screened for WND a movie to be released Sept. 14 in more than 1,200 theaters nationwide, “Last Ounce of Courage.” It’s a film about faith, patriotism and commitment to freedom that tells the story of an American family facing the loss of a beloved son in combat.

The film likely will be uncomfortable for a White House that has endorsed limitations on expressions of faith in military funerals.

“This is a movie that will speak to America,” Richard Bott Sr., the founder and chairman of Bott Radio Network. Bott’s Kansas City, Mo.-based radio Christian powerhouse broadcasts through some 90 stations, with a combined coverage of 40 million people in the Midwest.

Bott pledged to promote “Last Ounce of Courage” throughout his network free of charge.

“This is the most patriotic movie I have ever seen,” he said. “It shows why every schoolchild in America must once again be permitted to praise God openly in our nation’s school.”

Robert B. J. Jackson, Jason Jones and Marshall Teague

Robert B. J. Jackson, a former Army specialist who lost both legs in combat in Iraq, is helping to promote “Last Ounce of Courage.”

“The film is a great vehicle for people to understand the price of freedom and the peril our freedoms face every day to a government determined to remove God from America,” he said.

Marshall Teague, a Navy veteran and a former Deputy Sheriff in Memphis, Tenn., is the lead actor in the film.

“Making this film was one of the greatest spiritual and emotional experiences of my life,” Teague said.

“The movie gave me the opportunity to express what I have felt always – the importance of freedom and the sacrifices that have been made for that freedom, from the beginning of this nation to this second,” he said. “The two most important every American can say for the country we live in are ‘Thank You.’”

Jones told WND “Last Ounce of Courage” is a movie “certain to mobilize the Christian community throughout America.”

Hundreds of Christian leaders throughout the nation have already offered to sponsor the movie in their local theaters.

Mr. Fuller did an excellent job describing these characters below.  There are sixteen, and they are just the tip of the iceberg in this Administration!  The entire piece is well worth the read and not a bit boring.  Seldom has he inserted opinion–not his own, but those of the authors he used as research.  In fact, I did a similar paper, in which some of the names varied, but that was because I did not want to write about all of Obama’s cronies lest I get riled up more than usual!

Ship of Fools: Obama’s Intimates and Advisors
By Mac Fuller
The following thumbnails describe a very small sampling of the locust horde of Leftist bureaucrats President Barack Hussein Obama has deliberately chosen to help him grasp the helm of America’s ship of state, strip it from the American people, and steer it hard to port.

The Obama Administration is plainly subverting democracy in America, wildly careening our previous 230-year history of democracy so dangerously Leftward that we are in terrible danger of sinking.

In these thumbnails, three dominant themes of the Obama Administration emerge – fanatically uncompromising anti-capitalism, dangerous and blatant anti-Semitism, and the societal inculcation of dogmatic Leftist, Socialist “faith” through indoctrination of American school children beginning with the earliest ages – a practice instituted by Lenin in Communist Russia and now pounding its way into the American academic mainstream through the prolific efforts and influence of self-proclaimed Communist, Obama friend, and likely “autobiography” ghost writer, William Ayers, as well as Obama appointees like Charles Freeman and Kevin Jennings.

Make no mistake. These people are about Socialism, and they are about power. Their power.

———————————————————————- —–

1. Valerie Jarrett — Obama Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs. Ms. Jarrett, a product of two decades in rough-and-tumble “Chicago way” politics, and a 17-year friend of the Obama’s, is described as “the other side of Barack Obama’s brain.” Born in Iran, Jarrett, who speaks Persian, moved to the United States as a child. A product of an elite, private, New England boarding school, she is a graduate of the University of Michigan Law School.

Jarrett served in the administration of Chicago Mayor Harold Washington (who, prior to his election, failed to file income tax returns for 19 years and during it maintained dubious Socialist ties) as well as in the scandal-ridden, current Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley. Her step-father, Vernon Jarrett was associated with Frank Marshall Davis, the youthful Barack Obama’s mentor from age 10 until college – a Chicago Communist Party (USA) member who moved to Hawaii from Chicago. Frank Marshal Davis is now immortalized in President Barack Hussein Obama’s “autobiography” as “Uncle Frank” — conveniently with no mention of his last name nor who he was.

According to the Washington Post, Ms. Jarrett was for many years both Michelle and Barack Obama’s “tutor.” Virtually every mainstream media outlet has not only done an over-the-top puff piece on Valerie Jarrett (as they repeatedly have with Mr. Obama and his wife), but all agree that neither the President not Mrs. Obama makes a move without first consulting Ms. Jarrett. Ms. Jarrett was personally responsible for bringing self-described Communist Van Jones into the White House as President Obama’s environmental “Green Czar.” [1]

2. Patrick Gaspard — White House Political Director (this is the position Karl Rove held in the Bush Administration). Prior to coming on board as President Obama’s right-hand man, Mr. Gaspard was a registered federal lobbyist for the SEIU – the union members (thugs?) called-in by the Administration to run interference (sometimes violent) between Democrat members of Congress who support ObamaCare and their own constituents. Prior to that, Gaspard worked for ACORN – the community organizing front which Barack Obama worked for as a trainer, represented as a lawyer, helped as a politician, and funneled money to as a presidential candidate.

The President Obama is as much a product of ACORN as it is of him. He worked closely with the “community organizing” group for many years, represented them in court, and was a member of the board of Chicago’s Woods Fund at the time it funneled $200,000 to an ACORN affiliate. Mr. Obama praised the organization extravagantly both during and after his election, and his campaign “donated” over $800,000 to an offshoot group controlled by ACORN (Citizens Services, Inc.) – to “get out the vote.”

Gaspard worked directly for now-ACORN chief Bertha Lewis as her political director for the main ACORN office which is located in New York. ACORN is mired in long-standing as well as new and growing allegations of fraud, voter-registration fraud, corruption, and massive embezzlement of funds – ACORN operative organizations have received tens of millions of dollars in federal grants.

ACORN pledged $35,000,000 for voter registration drives in the 2008 election cycle.

In 2004, Patrick Gaspard served as National Field Director for America Coming Together (ACT), a group which was later fined $775,000 in civil penalties by the federal government. ACT hired felons – some convicted of sex offenses, assault and burglary – to conduct door-to-door voter registration drives in Missouri and at least two other swing states, and also employed felons as voter canvassers in major metropolitan areas in Missouri, Florida, Ohio. [2]

3. Eric Holder — Attorney General of the United States. A handpicked Obama/Jarrett selection, who earlier this year referred to the United States as “a nation of cowards” on race relations, Mr. Holder is a shiningly despicable example of everything wrong when politics and personal ambition dictate the parameters of American justice.

Prior to grasping the brass ring of the department where he’d toiled during the Clinton Administration, Mr. Holder was responsible for these widely-reported miscarriages of justice: (1) He streamlined the Clinton Administration’s pardon of fugitive billionaire Marc Rich by steering Rich’s representatives to a former White House counsel, then helped lobby the President to pardon Rich (“an unrepentant fugitive wanted on extensive fraud, racketeering, and trading-with-the-enemy charges”). Holder did so for personal gain, later admitting he hoped this would help him become Attorney General in a Gore administration. Mr. Holder concealed the pardon negotiations from other prosecuting and investigative agencies to prevent their opposition. Mr. Rich’s wife was a generous donor to both President Clinton’s library as well as his legal-defense fund.

(2) “In 1999, over the objections of the FBI, the Bureau of Prisons, and prosecuting attorneys, Holder supported Clinton’s commutation of the sentences of 16 FALN conspirators. These pardons – of terrorists who even Holder has conceded had not expressed any remorse – were issued in the months after al-Qaeda’s 1998 U.S. embassy bombings…. The commutations were nakedly political, obviously designed by Clinton to assist his wife’s impending Senate campaign by appealing to New York’s substantial Puerto Rican vote.”

(3) Holder was also instrumental in the “stealth pardons” of two Weather Underground terrorists, Susan Rosenberg and Linda Evans (both closely associated with President Obama’s terrorist friends, Bill Ayers and Bernadine Dohrn). Rosenberg and Evans had been serving decades-long sentences for bombings targeting American government facilities. Again Holder helped circumvent the pardon process and evade objections from prosecutors regarding the terrorists’ jail terms.

Just this summer, now-Attorney General Holder dismissed prosecution of an obvious case (it was filmed) of voter intimidation by members of the New Black Panthers, while also instigating prosecutorial investigations into CIA interrogation techniques of terrorist combatants. Attorney General Holder is a strong advocate for the release of the Islamofascist enemy combatants currently held at Guantanamo Bay. [3]

4. Cecelia Muñoz — White House Director of Intergovernmental Affairs. Prior to being summoned to the White House by President Obama, Ms. Muñoz was Senior Vice President of The National Council of La Raza. La Raza (literally, “The Race”) is the largest Hispanic lobbying organization in America, and is committed not merely to a socialist agenda, but, essentially, the return of California, if not larger portions of the American West, to Hispanics. It lobbies heavily for completely open borders with Mexico, as well as amnesty for all illegal aliens. In order to carry out this agenda, the U.S. federal government awarded over $15.2 million in grants to the organization in 2005 alone.

La Raza is intimately involved with the “the radical racist group Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan, or Chicano Student Movement of Aztlan (MEChA), one of the most anti-American groups in the country, which has permeated U.S. campuses since the 1960s, and continues its push to carve a racist nation out of the American West.” Aztlan’s goal is the formation of a Chicano state. The closing two sentences of Atzlan’s motto are: La Raza todo. Fuera de La Raza nada”: “For The Race everything. Outside The Race, nothing.” Which ought to be as chilling as the idea of the U.S. government funding these people.

President Obama’s recent appointee to the U.S. Supreme Court, Sonia Sotomayor, has also long been deeply involved with La Raza – a fact which all Democrat Senators ignored during her confirmation hearing.

5. Samantha Power — Senior Director, Multilateral Affairs, National Security Council. Ms. Power, a professor of public policy at Harvard [who is married to President Obama’s Leftist fringe academic Cass Sunstein, the Administrator of the White House Office of Administration and Regulatory Affairs] was only seemingly thrown under the Obama campaign bus for referring to Hillary Clinton as “a monster” during the 2008 Democrat primary. In 2009 President Obama, tapped her to occupy her senior White House foreign policy position.

Ms. Power, a “fierce critic of Israel,… was indisputably Barack Obama’s closest foreign policy adviser during the campaign. They go back years.” Ms. Power is a notorious acolyte of appeasement-challenged, Neville-Chamberlain-clone Zbigniew Brzezinski (former President Jimmy Carter’s National Security Adviser) who recently stated that the U.S. should shoot down any Israeli planes which, out of self-preservation, might fly through Iraqi air space to destroy Iran’s developing nuclear facilities. Ms. Power agrees with the Charles-Freeman-published Walt-Mearsheimer-essay school of thought that America is run and being destroyed by a cabal of Jews. Power promotes the policies of disgraced anti-Semitic, Israeliphobic, pro-PLO, pro-Syria, Obama adviser Robert Malley who advocated not merely talking with Hamas, but funding the terrorist organization because he feels their policies and governance mirror that of Israel. The Obama Administration cut visible ties with Malley shortly after the election.

Power, who stridently criticized the invasion and “occupation” of Iraq, repeatedly calling for the removal of American forces from that nation, curiously advocates that America send armed military forces, “a mammoth protection force” and an “external intervention”, to impose a settlement between Israel and the Palestinians. While giving the PLO, Fatah, Hamas and other obviously terrorist Arab state organizations a pass, Ms. Power views Israel, the only democratic and non-totalitarian, nation in the Middle East, as guilty of war crimes. She favors slashing, if not eliminating, United States aid to Israel – which is surrounded by several hundred million Muslims who daily pray for its total annihilation – and, apparently, giving the money to the Palestinians instead.

Ms. Power, and virtually all of her truth-through-force ilk ignore the fact that on the day Israel gained independence it was immediately attacked by the surrounding Arab neighbors who erroneously believed they could destroy the nascent country in a matter of hours. “Palestinians” (there is no such country, nor has there been since Biblical times) who now form the “Palestinian problem” were not forced to leave Israel but instead chose to do so because Israel became a Jewish state. Hundreds of thousands of non-Jewish Arabs remained and now form a large core group of Israeli citizenry. The approximately 750,000 “Palestinians” who left, now number approximately 4,000,000. They constitute a “problem” because of all the Arab countries only Jordan has allowed them to become a part of its society. The other Arab countries bordering Israel keep the “Palestinians” in enormous desert internment camps. And they have done so to their Arab brethren for 60 years. Ms. Power and her comrades exquisitely fail to note that Jews were forced to leave Arab countries and relocate to the newly-formed Israeli state.

Like her pro-Arab “realist” co-religionists Charles Freeman, Robert Malley, Zbigniew Brzezinsk, billionaire George Soros (an influential Obama supporter), and others of their stripe, Powers opposes the “Israel lobby.” She, as they, adamantly rejects the participation of American supporters of Israel, including Christians, in foreign policy discussions of the Middle East.

For all Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s public visibility, it may not be much of a conjecture that her job has been outsourced to the alpha female who once referred to Mrs. Clinton as a “monster.” [5]

6. Charles Freeman — Nominated, but not confirmed, as Chairman of the (United States) National Intelligence Council – which is responsible for producing national intelligence estimates for the president and his advisors. Mr. Freeman has a distinguished résumé of long service in both the State and Defense Departments, however, his “distinctive political views and affiliations” include: troubling financial ties to King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz of Saudi Arabia who funds the Middle East Policy Council (formerly the American Arab Affairs Council) which Mr. Freeman heads; organizational support for professors John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt’s lengthy, controversial, and essentially anti-Jewish essay, “The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy”; his stated viewpoint that “the primary reason America confronts a terrorism problem today is “the brutal oppression of the Palestinians by an Israeli occupation”; praise for the terrorist organization, Hamas, as the only “democratically-elected” government in the Middle East; and, bizarrely, unabashedly siding with the Chinese government over the massacre at Tiananmen Square in 1989 – Mr. Freeman criticized the Chinese government for being “overly cautious.”

Once Leftist liberal, New York Senator Chuck Schumer spoke against Freeman’s nomination, the gentleman withdrew – but not without “blaming his own disgrace on a Jewish conspiracy.”

During his Congressional investigation, Mr. Freeman was charged with “[p]romoting public schools textbooks which the independent Textbook League describe ‘a vehicle for disseminating disinformation, including a multitude of false, distorted or utterly absurd claims that are presented as historical facts. …[with] three principal purposes: inducing teachers to embrace Islamic religious beliefs; inducing teachers to embrace political views that are favored by the…Middle East Policy Council (formerly the American Arab Affairs Council)…; and impelling teachers to disseminate those religious beliefs and political views in schools.” [6]

7. Scott Gration — President Obama’s Special Envoy to the Sudan. His diplomatic policy is, quite literally the following:

“We’ve got to think about giving out cookies,” said Gration who was appointed in March, “Kids, countries — they react to gold stars, smiley faces, handshakes, agreements, talk, engagement.”

As even that bastion of liberal blather the Washington Post noted, “U.S. diplomacy has remained mostly in the hands of Obama’s special envoy to Sudan, retired Air Force Maj. Gen. J. Scott Gration, who is pushing toward normalized relations with the only country in the world led by a president indicted on war-crimes charges.”

While President Obama’s handpicked “Special Envoy” was tempting genocidal Muslim radicals with “cookies” and “gold stars,” marauding bands of guerrillas in the Sudan crucified seven Christians. [7]

8. Rahm (“dead fish”) Emanuel — White House Chief of Staff. Mr. Emanuel is the notorious hardball political player from Chicago’s North Side which he represented in Congress prior to his current incarnation as President Obama’s political henchman and myrmidon. The ironically named Mr. Emanuel (“God with us”) is “relentlessly partisan,” thereby quite succinctly putting the lie to Mr. Obama’s campaign claim to “post-partisanship.”

Nicknamed “Rhambo,” President Obama’s Chief of Staff – the highest ranking office of the Executive Branch of the President of the United States – is well-know for the following accomplishments:

(1) a casual conversation style addictively laced with the most outrageous profanities and gutter language at any and all times;

(2) sending a 2½ foot-long dead and decomposing fish to lobbyist Allen Secrest with whom he was angry;

(3) threatening then-British Prime Minister Tony Blair just prior to a joint appearance with then-President Bill Clinton: “This is important. Don’t f— it up.”;

(4) at dinner the night after Bill Clinton was elected President in 1992, “Rhambo” ranted about a long list of people who were the subject of his ire. As he shouted each “enemy’s” name, Mr. Emanuel punctuated his rage by forcefully stabbing the dinner table and screaming, “Dead!”

Outside of murdering a Congressional page, it is relatively difficult to improve upon these glowing characteristics of mental stability and leadership. [8]

Rahm Emanuel is Ezekiel Emanuel, “Dr. Death’s,” brother.

9. Ezekiel Emanuel — President Obama’s Special Advisor for Health Policy to the Office of Management and Budget. Nicknamed in the press “Dr. Death” after former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and former New York Lieutenant Governor Betsy McCaughey pointed out Dr. Emanuel’s “healthcare” role assisting the White House in the preparation and administration of federal budget recommendations for guiding healthcare and healthcare initiatives, Dr. Emanuel (again, application of the absurdly ironic name, “God with us”) is a “bioethicist.” He is also hailed as President Obama’s “Rationer-in-Chief.” Generally, Emanuel’s idea of healthcare rationing is to greatly restrict many treatments, medicines, and procedures to anyone over 40 and more particularly to anyone over 65. Dr. Emanuel feels similarly about the newly born until they have attained several years of age at which time he begins to view them in Malthusian terms of potential communitarian utility.

As Lt. Governor McCaughey noted, “In numerous writings, Dr. Emanuel chastises physicians for thinking only about their own patient’s needs.” This is the man who was personally tapped to guide ObamaCare health initiatives – not only by President Obama and his Chief of Staff… but also by “the other side of Barack’s brain,” Valerie Jarrett.

Mr. Emanuel is yet another in a tedious yet frighteningly long line of unqueried, unquestioned, and unvetted Obama advisors and “czars” about whom nothing can be known until pulled from beneath labyrinths of liberal camouflage by interested citizens, conservative Internet bloggers, and the staffs of conservative talk shows. Mainstream media long ago forfeited its credibility as well as its societal role as the fourth estate.

Dr. Emanuel is a member of the President’s Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research (curiously enough authorized under the dazzling rushed-through and unread by a single Congressman, American Recovery and Investment Act… “the Stimulus Bill”) which, if allowed, will make decisions about the validity, “relative strengths and weakness of various medical interventions” as well as give clinicians…information to make decisions that will improve the performance of the U.S. health care system. Not improve medical care much less your medical care, but the “system.” It’s called “rationing,” and it will very likely result in unnecessary and preventable early deaths. On a very large scale.

One final point. Due to the ambiguity of the relevant language in the Stimulus Bill as well as in the various ObamaCare “reform” proposals, there will not only be great latitude for interpretation of various laws’ meaning, but these interpretations will require being instituted, oversight, and, of course, regulation. The necessity of regulation allows President Obama’s Administrator of the White House Office of Administration and Regulatory Affairs Cass Sunstein carte blanche to regulate whatever he likes.

Mr. Emanuel is the brother of White House Chief of Staff, and former North Side Chicago Congressman (5th District of Illinois) Rahm (“dead fish”) Emanuel. [9]

10. Cass Sunstein — Administrator of the White House Office of Administration and Regulatory Affairs. He is a Harvard Law School professor and newly-minted husband of President Obama’s Senior Director, Multilateral Affairs, National Security Council, the Israel-phobic Samantha Power (one of several husband-wife teams in the Obama White House). Mr. Sunstein’s belief structure could understandably be called “Leftist kook” or “fringe” if not downright lunatic. Herewith:

In a 2007 speech at Harvard, Sunstein called for banning all hunting in the United States. All. Everywhere.

He actually put in writing, in his 2004 book, Animals that, “Animals should be permitted to bring [law] suit, with human beings as their representatives….”

“[T]here should be extensive regulation of the use of animals in entertainment, in scientific experiments, and in agriculture.”

Mr. Sunstein, who openly argues for bringing socialism to the U.S. and even lends support to communism, wrote, “The absence of a European-style social welfare state is certainly connected with the widespread perception among the white majority that the relevant programs would disproportionately benefit African Americans (and more recently Hispanics)…”

“[A]lmost all gun control legislation is constitutionally fine. And if the Court is right, then fundamentalism does not justify the view that the Second Amendment protects an individual right to bear arms.”

Were Mr. Sunstein to succeed as President Obama’s head regulator of all things American, what might happen to those millions of hunting rifles and shotguns he doesn’t want gathering dust in your cabinet?

Mr. Sunstein is a reputed “1st Amendment scholar.” Having attended law school myself and actually practiced law for a quarter century rather than retreat to the head-swelling-brain-shrinking environs of academia, I can assure you that if he is, America is in very deep trouble. President Obama has made clear his White House Masterregulator is intended to regulate virtually every aspect of American’s lives – including the environment, healthcare, finance, and the economy – regardless of your feelings about such matters much less your freedom and liberty. Sunstein has argued in his prolific literary works (one bookstore tour de force was a whopping 84 pages) that the Internet is anti-democratic because of the way users can filter out information of their own choosing. He went on to assert: [10]

A system of limitless individual choices, with respect to communications, is not necessarily in the interest of citizenship and self-government… Democratic efforts to reduce the resulting problems ought not be rejected in freedom’s name.

As WorldNetDaily noted:

“It’s hard to imagine President Obama nominating a more dangerous candidate for regulatory czar than Cass Sunstein….Not only is Sunstein an animal-rights radical, but he also seems to have a serious problem with our First Amendment rights. Sunstein has advocated everything from regulating the content of personal e-mail communications, to forcing nonprofit groups to publish information on their websites that is counter to their beliefs and mission…. If it were up to Obama and Sunstein, everything we read online – right down to our personal e-mail communications – would have to be inspected and approved by the federal government.”

11. Van Jones — President Obama’s former White House Environmental Adviser (“Green Jobs Czar”). Mr. Jones remains a self-defined Communist community organizer from the San Francisco Bay area (Oakland, California). He is also an Whites-hating racist with a criminal arrest record, as well as a “9/11 Truther” true believer. The 9/11 Truther organizations proselytize that former President George W. Bush and former Vice President Richard Cheney either planned or knew about the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks conducted by 19 Islamofascist members of Al-Qaeda who, aside from slamming a passenger jetliner into the Pentagon, did the same in New York City totally destroying the Twin Towers and killing almost 3,000 Americans.

When Mr. Jones, an ardent racist and Communist, was hired into the White House by “the other half of Barack’s brain,” Ms. Valerie Jarrett, she expressed overflowing praise in the press and in video-taped interviews for Mr. Jones and his work, noting that “we have been watching him for a long time. [11]

12. Carol M. Browner — Director of the White House Office of Energy and Climate Change Policy. Ms. Browner is a Socialist sycophant of Al Gore’s conclusion that the earth is going to evaporate tomorrow. A former EPA director, Ms. Browner is married to Leftist lobbyist Thomas Downey and remains an ardent Socialist activist. She is one of 14 leaders of Socialist International’s, “Commission for a Sustainable World Society,” which calls for “global governance.”

As Van Jones was an admitted Communist, Ms. Browner is an admitted and very active Socialist. What more really need be said about her with reference to President Obama who has been fully informed of her moral relativity and anti-Americanism for years since she has hardly kept it secret from either her associates, the public, nor the press. [12]

13. John Holdren — Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Other than Mr. Holdren’s well known and oft repeated morally relativistic denial of American exceptionalism, one and only one thing need to be said here about President Obama’s “Science” Czar – he is Barack Obama’s twin on the matter of abortion and has advocated compulsory abortion. Here it is again: President Obama searched for, reached out, and chose as his chief “science advisor” a plasma physicist who advocates compulsory abortion.

As John Griffing wrote of Holdren in “Enough is Enough,” for American Thinker:

…for a true outrage, consider new Czar of Science, John P. Holdren, who, in a stunning display of unabashed evil, has actively advocated “compulsory abortion”:

There exists ample authority under which population growth could be regulated…It has been concluded that compulsory population-control laws, even including laws requiring compulsory abortion, could be sustained under the existing Constitution if the population crisis became sufficiently severe to endanger the society.

If that doesn’t send a chill down your spine, consider his words, “All the children who are born, beyond what would be required to keep up the population to a desired level, must necessarily perish, unless room be made for them by the death of grown persons.” Let that sink in: an American official supports forced abortion and the death of “grown persons.” We know what that looks like. It has been official policy for years in Communist China.

President Obama quite literally has the single worst record of any elected official on the question of abortion. While in the Illinois legislature he single-handedly prevented that state’s Born Alive Infant Protection Act from leaving his committee much less being made into law. As a result, for three more years until legislator Obama became U. S. Senator Obama, Illinois hospitals and doctors were permitted to allow otherwise healthy infants who survived an abortion to receive no medical attention whatsoever until they died. They were simply, and quite literally, “shelved.” The evidence of Mr. Obama’s actions and callous disregard for the lives of infants is overwhelming. [13]

14. Kevin Jennings — President Obama’s Safe Schools Czar. Jennings is a former schoolteacher who has very successfully advocated promoting homosexuality in schools, written about his past drug abuse, unashamedly and vituperatively expressed his utter contempt for religion, and detailed an incident in which he did not report to authorities his knowledge that an underage student told him he was having sex with older men – Jennings instead counseled the boy to “use a condom. ” In 1990, as a teacher in Massachusetts, [Jennings] founded the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), which now has over 40 chapters at schools nationwide. He has also published six books on gay rights and education….”

In the past, Mr. Jennings has praised Harry Hay, the frequent and vocal defender of NAMBLA – the North American Man-Boy Love Association, which promotes the legalization of sexual abuse of young boys by older men.

His organization, Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network, has successfully prodded some schools into making October the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered (LGBT) Month, as well as established November 28th as “Transgender Day of Remembrance.”

None of this belongs in any school anywhere, any time, and the fact that the Obama Administration chooses to support such people with such goals and then put them in positions of great authority and power should make even the most dyed-in-the-wool middle-class liberal Democrats cringe at the depth of either their negligence, uncaring, or stupidity regarding the real Barack Hussein Obama.

And I bet all the teachers in America didn’t know this – according to Mr. Jennings (at a New York University “Education Policy Breakfast):

“… you cannot be an effective teacher if you are not aware of how [lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender] biases can influence how you interact with your students. Pure and simple.”

To which Mr. Jennings added,

“It should be impossible to graduate from NYU or any other school of education without coursework – required coursework – that address issues of [LGBT] bias in the classroom and how it might influence your teaching. [It] should be a graduation requirement.”

In 1999, Mr. Jennings wrote the foreward for an elementary education instruction book, Queering Elementary Education, the description of which states that it examines “five broadly-defined areas in elementary education: foundational issues; social and sexual development; curriculum; the family; and gay/lesbian educators and their allies. It seeks to provide scholarly insights, pedagogical strategies, and curricular resources for use in schools. At the core of the book is the belief that public school educators have the responsibility to affirm sexual diversity…” In elementary school?

It is Jennings himself, Obama’s “Safe-School Czar,” who coined the term “safe school” as a euphemism for “pro-homosexual” school. Children’s physical safety had nothing and has even less to do now with Mr. Jennings educational background, “expertise,” or agenda. “Jennings was obviously chosen for this job because of the safe schools aspect… defining ‘safe schools’ narrowly in terms of ‘safe for homosexuality’,” says Peter Sprigg, a senior fellow at the Family Research Council.

“Safe school” is hardly the only word commandeered by Jennings and the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN) to support propagandizing his model “safe school” into mainstream elementary education. Others include, and parents should be alert to “seemingly innocuous terms as ‘safe school,’ ‘anti-bullying,’ ‘safe space,’ ‘hate-free, ‘tolerance,’ ‘respect differences,’ ‘be an ally,’ ‘no name calling day,’ ‘be who you are,’ ‘free to be fully me,’ ‘day of silence,’ and so forth. If these terms are present [in school instructional materials], they are [probably] defined by Jennings, not Webster, and the accompanying curricular material will probably be objectionable. Jennings’ jargon and the mythical bullying epidemic even showed-up in the recent Presidential address to school children.”

The Obama Administration was certainly aware of these facts long before the President and Ms. Jarrett selected Mr. Jennings, just as they selected Van Jones, and all the other members of the Obama Administration discussed here.

This is the type of colossal lack of judgment the President of The United States has not merely chosen to surround himself with, but in fact personally displays every day.

Feeling any “safer” about your kids? [14]

15. Chai Feldblum – Obama nominee to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission who signed a manifest seeking, inter alia, to legalize polygamy (“to protect households in which there is more than one conjugal partner”). See, online petition entitled Beyond Same-Sex Marriage: A New Strategic Vision For All Our Families and Relationships. Feldblum is an outspoken homosexual rights activist and Georgetown University law professor. She is “co-director of Workplace Flexibility 2010, which she described at [a] UCLA symposium as a homosexual rights group that aimed to change ‘the American workplace and revolutionize social mores. This is a war that needs to be fought,” Feldblum asserted, “‘and it’s not a war overseas where we are killing people in the name of liberating them.” [15]

16. William Ayers — Obama friend, neighbor, fellow board member, “respected” national educator, virulently anti-American, and dramatically unrepentant radical terrorist bomber. Mr. Ayers famously stated:

“I am a radical, Leftist, small ‘c’ Communist…Maybe I’m the last Communist who is willing to admit it…. The ethics of Communism still appeal to me.”

Perhaps Mr. Ayers most notable statement was made to the New York Times in a story released on September 11, 2001:

“I don’t regret setting bombs; I feel we didn’t do enough,”

It has gradually come to light that Mr. Ayers, far from the casual acquaintance President Obama made him out to be during the 2008 election, is quite likely the real author of Mr. Obama’s “autobiography,” Dreams of My Father. [16]

Mr. Ayers approach to education is as authoritarian as is his approach to society as a whole – otherwise he would not have planted terrorist bombs in an effort to compel his personal beliefs upon the rest of society. As Sol Stern of City Journal wrote:  Ayers’s influence on what is taught in the nation’s public schools is likely to grow in the future. Last month, he was elected vice president for curriculum of the 25,000-member American Educational Research Association (AERA), the nation’s largest organization of education-school professors and researchers. Ayers won the election handily, and there is no doubt that his fellow education professors knew whom they were voting for. In the short biographical statement distributed to prospective voters beforehand, Ayers listed among his scholarly books Fugitive Days, an unapologetic memoir about his ten years in the Weather Underground. The book includes dramatic accounts of how he bombed the Pentagon and other public buildings.

Ayers’s politics have hardly changed since his Weatherman days. He still boasts about working full-time to bring down American capitalism and imperialism. This time, however, he does it from his tenured perch as Distinguished Professor of Education at the University of Illinois, Chicago. Instead of planting bombs in public buildings, Ayers now works to indoctrinate America’s future teachers in the revolutionary cause, urging them to pass on the lessons to their public school students. [17]

The Ayers-Obama Socialist-conversion mission carried out with the Chicago Annenberg Challenge’s $100,000,000 was a total failure, producing zero results in student learning, but succeeded in massive transfers of wealth to Leftist, Socialist, and even the Communist causes of long-time Ayers ally, Mike Klonsky, a former S.D. S. leader, college professor and Director of the Small Schools Workshop. However, neither Mr. Ayers nor President Obama have given up on their radical Leftist agenda. [18]

Ayers is married to unrepentant Weather Underground terrorist Bernadine Dohrn who was once jailed for refusing to testify before a grand jury investigating other Weather Underground members’ robbery of a Brinks truck, in which a guard and two New York State Troopers were killed. Like her husband, she remains involved and influential in school programs.

For Mr. Ayers, Mr. Freeman, Mr. Jennings, Mr. Chu, and President Obama’s Secretary of Education, yet another Chicagoan, Arne Duncan – and far too many others in the Obama Administration – education is solely about pursuing then mandating the radicalization of children through indoctrination in Leftist policies, “social justice” curricula, and Socialism itself in public schools.

The Obama Administration is currently making thousands of federal bureaucratic appointments.

Make no mistake. These people are about Socialism, and they are about power. Their power.

I wouldn’t normally use a Rush Limbaugh transcript to support my argument, but in this case it suits much better than others.  We grew up in the same town, around the same time, but I don’t think he would know me from Eve!  Anyhowhoohahey, the point is that the differences in the Democratic superPAC, Romney-killer, campaign ad and Mitt Romney’s ad exposing Obama’s views and support of lazy-day welfare collecting, creates a huge divide in intent and content.  The ad showing Democrats support for Clinton’s bill designed to have entitlement recipients work for the money was well documented at that time.  The one individual who did not support that work program was Barack Obama.  Why?  Could it be that when a large segment of society becomes irrevocably dependent on government for life support, the odds are that that segment of dependent voters re-elect the one man willing to keep it coming?  He doesn’t care that sitting around, doing nothing to deserve a handout creates dependents that grow more incapable each day, and it ingrains the twisted thinking that welfare is deserved by virtue of being born into a welfare family–a generational welfare family.  This practice has turned a genuine helping hand into a pump, filling helpless hands with freebies–and after generations of this kind of daily expectations, people go from genuinely needy to greatly entitled.  Like children who never seem to get enough and are always angry when the ‘gifts’ stop coming, a dependent segment of society knows nothing else but how to be enraged at even the thought of an end to the gravy train.  There is no work ethic, no pride in ownership, and no self respect that comes with accomplishment and honest work.  Aren’t these people tired of being part of a sad, sad story?

State-Run Media Equates Romney Welfare Ad with the Despicable Obama Murder Ad

August 09, 2012

RUSH: The State-Run Media is now equating the Romney welfare ad to the Obama murder ad.  And there is a school of thought, because the Romney welfare reform ad accusing Obama of taking the work requirements out of it….That’s a marshmallow ad.  And yet the Regime is over the moon, fit-to-be-tied angry about this ad.  Now, one of the schools of thought is that getting mad at Romney’s welfare ad gives cover to the “Romney is a murderer” ad.  Anyway, you’ll hear members of the mainstream media agreeing that the Romney welfare ad is just as bad as that murder ad.BREAK TRANSCRIPTRUSH: This is yesterdayand last night, a montage of various media figures from the Drive-By Media, equating the Romney welfare ad with the Obama murder ad. Now, one thing: This Romney ad on gutting welfare reform, accusing Obama of taking the work requirements out of it, they really are excited by this. They are just livid over this ad.  And it can only be for one reason, and that is: It’s the truth.  That’s what sends liberals and Democrats into orbit, is when you tell the truth about them.  That’s why they didn’t like the Swift Boat ads.  That’s why they didn’t like the Willie Horton ad.  And the reason they don’t like the welfare reform ad that Romney is running is it’s true.Because it’s a marshmallow ad.I mean, yeah, the text in the ad is accurate.  But it’s not delivered in a hard-hitting, table-pounding way.  It has a very measured tone.  It’s not boisterous by any stretch of the imagination.  And yet they are fit to be tied over this.  In fact, the New York Times has an editorial today.  The New York Times doesn’t even have a real news story on the “Romney Killed My Wife” ad.  The Politico is covering for Obama and the campaign on that ad.  The New York Times doesn’t even have a real story on it, but they have an editorial calling Romney’s welfare reform ad “a new low in the history of politics.” So here we have an audio sound bite of media people trying to equate these two ads.JIM ACOSTA: This is what both sides are doing these days.

DAVID “RODHAM” GERGEN: Both sides are boiling mad tonight at the other because each one thinks the other has been dishonest in a very unfair way — and, frankly, they’re both right.

JOHN AVLON: It’s prevalent on both sides —

JOHN AVLON: — directly these ugly ads.

KATE BOLDUAN: Independent fact-checkers, though, have said that the claims in the ad are false, both sides.

CAROL COSTELLO: They’re just flat-out wrong (cackling) and they’re untrue and that’s coming from both sides.

FRANK RICH: This sort of desperate, uh, fictionalization. And then, of course, you have on the Romney side their ridiculous ad. It doesn’t have murder in it but it does have —

PIERS MORGAN: The welfare ad!

FRANK RICH: The welfare ad.

PIERS MORGAN: Which is also riddled with downright lies!

FRANK RICH: It’s — it’s — it’s complete lies.

RUSH:  There aren’t any lies in the welfare reform ad! (laughs) The Republican governors the regime is talking about asking for waivers didn’t ask for waivers.  It’s Obama and the campaign lying through their teeth.  Folks, I have no reason to lie to you about this.  That’s what we were talking about at the top of the program: We don’t want to get up where we end up by lying.  That’s not sustainable.  It’s not a real, substantive win.  We happen to care about it.  Maybe we’re too honorable. I don’t know.

But I have no reason to lie to you about any of this, and there’s nothing in it for me to be wrong.  It does not help me to be wrong about any of this.  There aren’t any lies in the Romney welfare reform ad.  There’s no comparison in the two ads.  Obama’s got an ad saying, “Romney killed my wife!”  Here is that ad.  Let’s do it again.  And Romney has doubled down with a new welfare reform ad that’s really going to tick them off.  But here is this disgusting Obama ad blaming Romney for the death of this steelworker’s wife.

SOPTIC: (dramatic music) When Mitt Romney and Bain closed the plant I lost my health care (dramatic chime), and my family lost their health care (dramatic chime), and, uh, uh, a short time after that my wife became ill. (dramatic chime) I don’t know how long she was sick. Uhhh, and I think maybe she didn’t say anything because she knew that we — we couldn’t afford the insurance. And — and then one day she — she, uh, became ill (dramatic chime) and I took her up to the Jackson County hospital and — and — and admitted her for pneumonia. And that’s when they found the cancer. And by then we were stage 4. There was — there was nothing they could do for her. (dramatic chime) And she passed away in 22 days. (dramatic chime) I do not think Mitt Romney realizes what he’s done to anyone. (dramatic chime) And I… Furthermore, I do not think Mitt Romney is concerned.

RUSH:  “No, no. Mitt Romney killed my wife.  He’s not concerned.”  So the regime, when called on this, said, “We don’t know the guy’s story.  What we do know is that Mitt Romney’s Bain Capital took everybody’s health insurance.”  None of it happened.  The Obama campaign has been caught lying about this. They’ve been caught red-handed lying about the ad.  It was just a month ago that the Obama campaign hosted a conference call and ran ads featuring the same story that they claim to know nothing about, with the same guy.

Joe Soptic!

The same guy.

They all know this, but they don’t care.  They don’t care about that, and they don’t care what you think of them.  Their focus is the people reading about this on Facebook and Twitter.  Now, the way that works is people see the ad and they have whatever reaction to it they have. Let’s say they’re pro-Obama. They say, “Do you believe this?  Why Romney, Bain Capital, killed that poor woman!” So these people start tweeting this ad and putting it on their Facebook pages.  And it goes viral.

And then the pop culture set, who is not watching television for news anymore — they’re just getting their news from Twitter and Facebook — they see it. That’s what the Obama campaign wants. That’s how they want the ad to spread.  They want people to see the ad, devoid of any context.  They just want them to see the ad.  They want them to see this guy all sad. His wife died; Mitt Romney caused it.  That’s what they’re trying to achieve.  Not true? That doesn’t matter.  They don’t have any respect for the people of this country.

They’re not burdened with any of that.

They don’t care what people think of them.

What they care about is what people think of Romney.  And that’s what they’re attempting to do is create a caricature of Mitt Romney as a rich, insensitive guy who doesn’t care about what happens to anybody but himself.  People die.  He doesn’t care.  People get sick and get poisoned.  He doesn’t care.  People are poor.  He doesn’t care because he’s a rich guy.  And he won’t release his tax returns!

That’s all they’re doing.

They’re not trying to win the election with a triumph of their ideas.  They can’t.  They’re not trying to win the election with a recitation of Obama’s record.  They can’t.  All they can do — all they can do — is turn Mitt Romney into Satan.  That’s what they’re trying to do.  So naturally those of us opposed to Obama, when we see this happening — and we don’t see the campaign reacting to it in a way that makes it look like they understand what they’re up against — then, yeah, we get a little bit ticked off.  Now, here’s the new Romney campaign ad which is doubling down.  They do okay in their ads.  Sometimes they get rapid response out of the ads, which is good, as far as it goes.  And here’s the latest.

This is from Romney’s website, It’s a new ad entitled, “The Rise and Fall of Welfare Reform.”

BILL CLINTON:  (music) This bill will help people to go to work so they can stop drawing a welfare check and start drawing a paycheck.

SEN. CARL LEVIN: Why should an able-bodied person receiving welfare benefits not be required to work?

SEN. JOHN KERRY:  It’s an important change.  Yes, people ought to work.  Hardworking American citizens should not be required to carry people.

JOE BIDEN:  I introduced a — a concept of workfare in 1986.  I remember being pilloried by my colleagues on the Democratic side at the time, uh, for suggesting that there be mandatory work requirement for anyone receiving welfare.

OBAMA:  I was not a huge supporter of — of the — the, UH, federal plan that was signed in 1996.

RUSH:  So you have all these Democrats talking about welfare reform and work requirements from Clinton to Carl Levin (the second voice) to John Kerry (who, by the way, served in Vietnam). And you heard Biden in there.  And it ends with Obama (impression), “I didn’t agree with any of that.  I’m not a huge supporter of making people work for welfare.”  They’re going to be really ticked off because he’s not.

What was the number?  What is the number?  One hundred million Americans now receive a welfare check.  One hundred million Americans! In terms of the total population, one-third of this country gets a welfare check.  If you reduce that to the adult population, you’re getting close to 50% of the adult population that receives a welfare check. And that’s just fine with Obama, as you know.

RUSH:  And here, ladies and gentlemen, is the first Romney welfare reform ad that the New York Times says is a new low in American politics.  The New York Times says Romney hit the bottom on welfare with this ad.  “Mitt Romney’s campaign has hit new depths of truth-twisting with its accusation that President Obama plans to ‘gut welfare reform’ by ending federal work requirements. The claim is blatantly false, but it says a great deal about Mr. Romney’s increasingly desperate desire to define the president as something he is not.”

It’s a parallel universe, the Twilight Zone. They don’t have a single story of any substance of any weight about “Romney killed my wife.”  That ad is fine with them.

Here’s the ad that the New York Times is so exorcized over…

ANNOUNCER:  But on July 12th, President Obama quietly announced a plan to gut welfare reform by dropping work requirements.  Under Obama’s plan, you wouldn’t have to work and wouldn’t have to train for a job.  They’d just send you your welfare check.  And welfare-to-work goes back to being plain old welfare.  Mitt Romney will restore the work requirement because it works.

RUSH:  That’s exactly what Obama did — and he did it very quietly, by the way.  There was no big fanfare, no celebratory announcement.  There was no calling the press, no gathering in the Rose Garden and saying, “Hey look at the vast and wonderful great improvements that I am making in welfare!” They did this under cover of darkness, late in the day. Quietly.  No ceremony whatsoever.  If it’s such a great damn thing, why no pomp and circumstance?  And this ad you just heard, that’s the ad the New York Times says is the most despicable thing yet.

Now, the New York Times, they did do a fact-check on the “Romney Killed My Wife” ad.  And the only thing they said about it was the super PAC “Romney Killed My Wife” ad “compresses time in a way that links the closure of the steel plant with Mrs. Soptic’s fatal illness.”  That’s all they said about it.  That’s all they said.

Has Obama Been Asked About the Big Sis Sexual Harassment Scandal?

August 21, 2012

Listen to it Button

RUSH: Here, grab audio sound bite number eight.

I mentioned in the previous busy broadcast hour that it was Todd Akin who finally drew Barack Obama out and sent him to the White House pressroom.  Two months without taking substantive questions from his own stenographers.  He’s been talking to People magazine, Entertainment Tonight, but his own stenographers’ feelings were hurt.  He won’t come out and talk to ’em.

So Akin says what he says Sunday in St. Louis, and Obama says, (imitating Obama) “You know what, I’m gonna go out, I’m gonna talk to press.”  And it was yesterday at the White House, the press briefing, Obama dropped in, spoke with his stenographers, and Jim Kuhnhenn, AP, said, “You’re no doubt aware the comments…

Obama has millions of fake Twitter followers

By David Jackson, USA TODAY
Updated 1h 22m ago

President Obama’s Twitter account has 18.8 million followers — but more than half of them really don’t exist, according to reports.

A new Web tool has determined that 70% of Obama’s crowd includes “fake followers,” The New York Times reports in a story about how Twitter followers can be purchased.

“The practice has become so widespread that StatusPeople, a social media management company in London, released a Web tool last month called the Fake Follower Check that it says can ascertain how many fake followers you and your friends have,” the Times reports.

“Fake accounts tend to follow a lot of people but have few followers,” said Rob Waller, a founder of StatusPeople. “We then combine that with a few other metrics to confirm the account is fake.”

Notes the Times:

If accurate, the number of fake followers out there is surprising. According to the StatusPeople tool, 71 percent of Lady Gaga’s nearly 29 million followers are “fake” or “inactive.” So are 70 percent of President Obama’s nearly 19 million followers.

Republican opponent Mitt Romney has far fewer Twitter followers — not quite 900,000 — but it’s a good bet that some of them are fake as well.

Both campaigns have denied buying Twitter followers.

Senator: Illegals to Receive over $7 Billion in Tax Credits

by Dan Riehl 23 Aug 2012 45 post a comment

A loophole in the US tax code, whose revision Harry Reid deliberately prevented, resulted in over $4 billion going to illegal immigrants in one year. That number is poised to top $7 billion this year, based on analysis from the office of Senator Jeff Sessions.

Sen. Jeff Sessions’ office calculated that, based on recent trends, illegal immigrants could receive roughly $7.4 billion through a provision known as the Additional Child Tax Credit. That’s more than quadruple what the payout was four years ago, but the payments have been steadily increasing over the past decade.

Although illegal immigrants cannot receive basic tax credits, they do qualify for the child tax credit, a refundable credit, under current law. Lacking a Social Security number, they are given an Individual Taxpayer Identification Number to file returns.

As a refundable credit, an illegal immigrant could end up paying no taxes at all and still receive the credit as a refund. Such refunds have averaged approximately $1,800 in previous years.

Last year, a report by the Inspector General recommended that Congress close the loophole. Senator Sessions co-sponsored a bill this year to bar illegal immigrants from the credit. But that effort was blocked by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid.

GOP platform opposes U.N. global tax plans

Levies infringe on U.S. rights, supporters say

By Ralph Z. Hallow

The Washington Times

Wednesday, August 22, 2012

TAMPA, Fla. — National Republican party officials on Wednesday put their party officially on record opposing United Nations‘ attempts, some backed by Democrats in Congress, to assess a special tax on Americans and give the money to Third World nations.

In a resolution, the Republican National Committee made clear its objection to “three global taxes and a global monetary governance mechanism to raise $400 billion a year to aid developing countries.”

The move also could have the practical effect of complicating the ability of the U.S. to participate in such international accords as the Law of the Sea Treaty, which the U.S. Senate has never ratified, and successor agreements to the Kyoto global-warming pact.

The resolution, passed in a meeting leading up to next week’s presidential nominating convention, cites in particular reports that Ottmar Edenhofer, an official with the U.N.’s major international panel dealing with climate-change issues, “claimed that climate-change policy was a way to redistribute wealth globally.”

It puts the national GOP in the center of the global wealth-distribution controversy for the first time. The world body also has proposed a carbon tax, a currency transaction tax and a billionaires’ tax, “as well as allocation of the International Monetary Fund’s Special Drawing Rights,” which have been proposed by some as a replacement for the U.S. dollar as the common currency all nations use for international trade.

The Congressional Budget Office issued a report earlier this year asserting that the financial transactions tax could kill jobs in the U.S. Such a move, financial experts say, could also undermine the nation’s long-standing role as the dominant global financial power.

The transaction tax was sponsored by Rep. Peter A. DeFazio of Oregon and Sen. Tom Harkin of Iowa, both liberal Democrats, late in 2011. Citing similar taxes imposed in Europe, the two said the measure could raise revenue for the Treasury while simultaneously curbing excessive financial market speculation.

“The first step on the long path to recovery happens when we rein in the excessive speculative activity that has destabilized our financial system,” Mr. DeFazio said at the time.

Republicans here said the tax could cause American stock traders to move their businesses offshore and create ways to avoid the tax.

Approved by the standing resolutions committee, the document will be presented to the full 168-member RNC for approval Thursday.

“The United Nations has not evidenced its capability to properly handle foreign aid and has in face been shown to be wasteful and scandal-ridden, ” the GOP resolution notes.

The resolution’s sponsor, Demetra DeMonte, an RNC member from Illinois and a founding member of the RNC’s Conservative Caucus, said the U.N. appears bent on encroaching on U.S. sovereignty.

Jeff Grossman, a delegate-at-large to the national convention, said he “wished the resolution had gone further.”

“In truth, the U.N. has no authority to impose a tax on the citizens of the United States,” said Mr. Grossman, who supported Mitt Romney in the Republican presidential primaries.

He argued that the GOP must take the stand it did Wednesday because “it would be a violation of America’s sovereignty and of the Constitution to ratify such a tax.”

We have here another Constitutional issue debate!  Why are there so many of these debates, and how is it that folks can disagree on what is Constitutional and what is not?  Isn’t the language clear and to the point?  It is clear and to the point, but for the most part, the majority of citizens, as well as our ruling politicians do NOT know what the United States Constitution contains, what it is based on, and most importantly do not comprehend the document’s meaning and what that meaning was intended to do!  In an upcoming article, I will do my best to give you this information and explain why a growing number of people want to destroy our intended way of life!

New Audio Surfaces of Obama Defending Infanticide in Illinois

by Steven Ertelt | Washington, DC | | 8/23/12 4:01 PM

That President Barack Obama was the only member of the Illinois legislature to not support a bill to provide medical care for newborns who survived failed late-term abortions is one of the key reasons pro-life voters will never support him.

Now, Weekly Standard reporter John McCormack has uncovered new audio of Obama, as a state legislator in Illinois in 2003, defending his position. Obama essentially argues that there is no need for the law because he trusts abortion practitioners to provide medical care for the baby they unsuccessfully tried to kill in an abortion.

The transcript of the video McCormack unearthed follows:

OBAMA: I just want to be clear because I think this was the source of the objections of the Medical Society. As I understand it, this puts the burden on the attending physician who has determined, since they were performing this procedure, that, in fact, this is a nonviable fetus; that if that fetus, or child – however way you want to describe it – is now outside the mother’s womb and the doctor continues to think that its nonviable but there’s, lets say, movement or some indication that, in fact, they’re not just out limp and dead, they would then have to call a second physician to monitor and check off and make sure that this is not a live child that could be saved. Is that correct?

OBAMA: Let me just go to the bill, very quickly. Essentially, I think, as — as this emerged during debate and during committee, the only plausible rationale, to my mind, for this legislation would be if you had a suspicion that a doctor, the attending physician, who has made an assessment that this is a nonviable fetus and that, lets say for the purposes of the mother’s health, is being — that — that labor is being induced, that that physician (a) is going to make the wrong assessment and (b) if the physician discovered, after the labor had been induced, that, in fact, he made an error, or she made an error, and, in fact, that that physician, of his own accord or her own accord, would not try to exercise the sort of medical measures and practices that would be involved in saving that child. Now, if — if you think that there are possibilities that doctors would not do that, then maybe this bill makes sense, but I — I suspect and my impression is, is that the Medical Society suspects as well that doctors feel that they would be under that obligation, that they would already be making these determinations and that, essentially, adding a — an additional doctor who then has to be called in an emergency situation to come in and make these assessments is really designed simply to burden the original decision of the woman and the physician to induce labor and perform an abortion. Now, if that’s the case – and –and I know that some of us feel very strongly one way or another on that issue – that’s fine, but I think it’s important to understand that this issue ultimately is about abortion and not live births. Because if these children are being born alive, I, at least, have confidence that a doctor who is in that room is going to make sure that they’re looked after. Thank you, Mr. President.”

Yesterday, McCormack uncovered an old video from 2003, when President Barack Obama was running for the U.S. Senate from Illinois, in which he defends his position favoring late-term abortions.

As an Illinois state senator, Obama was so supportive of late-term abortions, he resisted efforts to protect unborn children born alive after failed abortion procedures.

When Obama opposed a bill to stop infanticide as a member of the Illinois legislature, he said he did so because it reportedly contained language that would have contravened the Roe v. Wade decision. However, documents uncovered during the 2008 election show Obama has misrepresented his position.

Obama, as a member of the Illinois Senate, opposed a state version of the federal Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, a measure that would make sure babies who survive abortions are given proper medical care.

It also protected babies who were “aborted” through a purposeful premature birth and left to die afterwards.

On the federal level, pro-abortion groups withdrew their opposition to the bill after a section was added making sure it did not affect the status of legal abortions in the United States. Ultimately, the bill was approved on a unanimous voice vote with even leading pro-abortion lawmakers like Hillary Clinton and John Kerry backing it.

When Obama was running for the U.S. Senate in 2004, his opponent criticized him for supporting infanticide by voting against the Illinois version of the bill. Obama countered this charge by claiming that he had opposed the state bill because it lacked the neutrality clause found in the federal version.

As the Chicago Tribune reported on October 4, 2004, “Obama said that had he been in the U.S. Senate two years ago, he would have voted for the Born-Alive Infants Protection Act, even though he voted against a state version of the proposal.”

During Obama’s 2008 run for President, he repeated those claims.

Documents obtained by the National Right to Life Committee showed Obama’s claim that he would have voted for the bill had it been Roe-neutral is a false argument.

According to the documents from the Illinois legislature, Obama, as the chairman of the Illinois state Senate Health and Human Services Committee, presided over a committee meeting concerning neutrality language that was an exact duplicate of the clause in the federal bill.

During the March 2003 committee, Obama voted in support of adding the neutrality clause, but then led his colleagues on the panel in voting down the anti-infanticide bill on a 6-4 vote.

“Barack Obama, as chairman of an Illinois state Senate committee, voted down a bill to protect live-born survivors of abortion,” NRLC legislative director Douglas Johnson told at the time.

Johnson said Obama did so “even after the panel had amended the bill to contain verbatim language, copied from a federal bill passed by Congress without objection in 2002, explicitly foreclosing any impact on abortion.”

“Obama’s legislative actions in 2003 — denying effective protection even to babies born alive during abortions — were contrary to the position taken on the same language by even the most liberal members of Congress,” Johnson continued.

“The bill Obama killed was virtually identical to the federal bill that even NARAL ultimately did not oppose,” he concluded.

Louis, and Obama says, (imitating Obama) “You know what, I’m gonna go out, I’m gonna talk to press.”  And it was yesterday at the White House, the press briefing, Obama dropped in, spoke with his stenographers, and Jim Kuhnhenn, AP, said, “You’re no doubt aware the comments made by Todd Akin.  I wondered if you think those views represent the views of the Republican Party in general.”  Oh, what a probing question.  Man, oh, man, what would we do without our press corps?  “Mr. President, Mr. President, do you think what Todd Akin says represents the entire thinking of the Republican Party?  Hmm?  Hmm?”  Obama’s been afraid to face this?  Obama’s been scared to go out and take these hard, penetrating questions?  Now, here’s what Obama said.

OBAMA:  The views expressed were offensive.  Rape is rape.  What I think these comments do underscore is why we shouldn’t have a bunch of politicians, a majority of whom are men, making health care decisions on behalf of women.  And so although these particular comments have led Governor Romney and other Republicans to distance themselves, I think the underlying notion that we should be making decisions on behalf of women for their health care decisions or qualifying forcible rape versus non-forcible rape, I think those are broader issues, and that is a significant difference in approach between me and the other party.

RUSH:  Okay.  Rape is rape.  Women’s health care.  I don’t know, but I mean I know that all Akin cares about is the lives of innocent children.  I guarantee you, folks, that’s all he cares about.  And he doesn’t know how to talk about it. He doesn’t know how to make his point about it.  But do you remember the story from last week?  This is from Reuters:  “Janet Napolitano Accused of Sexual Harassment — Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano has been accused of sexual harassment and discrimination against male employees.”  Really.  Does anybody care about this?  Has anybody seen this story outside of the first day it was reported?

We have an ongoing controversy at the Department of Homeland Security, article from August the 12th, folks, that’s when this story hit.  August the 12th, nine days ago.  We have a lawsuit here.  We have actual charges of sexual harassment against the Department of Homeland Security director, and what’s Obama have to say about that?  Zip, zero, nada.  Is anybody gonna ask Napolitano to resign?  For the good of the party, for the good of the country, for the good of Obama’s reelection.  Anybody gonna say to Janet Napolitano, “Hey, Big Sis, this is a distraction we don’t need.”  No, nobody’s gonna say that because it isn’t a distraction because nobody knows about it.

You know, talking about making health care decisions for women and men, ought not be doing that, what the hell is Obama?  He’s a man.  What does Obamacare do?  He’s got his mandate in there.  He’s got a birth control mandate in there.  He is mandating certain behaviors where women are concerned via Obamacare.  But somehow that connection isn’t made.

“In the complaint, Napolitano is accused of turning her female-run department into a ‘frat house’ where male staffers were routinely humiliated, reports Forbes. Along with the culture against men, Napolitano is also accused of providing unequal opportunities for men and women, promoting women to the highest positions while equally qualified men were bypassed. The lawsuit against Janet Napolitano serves as a stark reminder for employers that discrimination goes both ways, and that you have to be on the lookout for much more than men harassing women.” We do?  We have to be on the lookout for that?  No, we don’t.

This story didn’t cause a ripple, much less a wave.  There wasn’t anybody upset about this.  This story didn’t cause Obama to go to the pressroom and start taking questions.  This story didn’t cause anybody any concern. Sexual harassment at the highest levels of Homeland Security.  A female frat house.  Discrimination against men.  “The complaint against Napolitano is instructive to employers” because you gotta pay attention to discrimination against men now.  Nobody cares.  Not a word.

DECKER: Obama’s dark side

Defensive president tries to deny his dirty campaign practices

By Brett M. Decker

The Washington Times

Tuesday, August 21, 2012

President Obama’s ugly campaign is backfiring. With bad news clouding over our struggling nation, Americans are sick of all the political lies, such as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s claim that Mitt Romney hadn’t paid taxes for 10 years and the Obama camp’s inference that the Republican presidential candidate was guilty of a felony related to his business background. A defensive Mr. Obama even stopped hiding from the press for a few minutes on Monday to stammer, “We point out sharp differences between the candidates, but we don’t go out of bounds.” Yeah, right.

Increasingly fewer voters are buying what Mr. Obama is selling. According to Gallup, Mr. Obama is losing to Mr. Romney by 2 points, 47 percent to 45 percent. Even more telling, only 36 percent approve of Mr. Obama’s management of the economy, and a mere 30 percent support the president’s handling of federal deficits. On top of those dire numbers is the fundamental disconnect between Mr. Obama’s left-wing dogma and background as a community agitator with the normal views of Main Street USA. His animosity for the average voter was made plain when he sneered about mainstream Americans bitterly clinging to their guns and religion. Now the president is targeting those people’s beliefs.

Recent shootings naturally had many trying to make sense of life, and why it can be so fleeting. Government-centric left-wingers predictably jumped to the conclusion that more government is needed to save man from himself, or from others. The liberal media sprinted to try to show that deranged shooters in some way represent the Tea Party or conservatism, as if being disaffected by ineffectual bureaucracy makes one dangerous. At the root of liberalism’s empty sentiments is the reality that the state can’t control an uncertain world and solve all of our problems. At some point, a higher power comes into play. That’s why our money has “In God We Trust” stamped on it. Instead of embracing the moral foundation of America, the Obama government is pursuing all-out religious persecution.

The most direct threats at the moment are the provisions in Obamacare that force religious institutions to provide abortion, contraception and other services against the dictates of their faith. As Cardinal Timothy Dolan, archbishop of New York, has warned, “Coercing religious ministries and citizens to pay directly for actions that violate their teaching is an unprecedented incursion into freedom of conscience.” What His Eminence left unsaid is that the modernist goal is to drive religion underground so faith can’t act as a road bump to evil laws. That’s going to be hard to accomplish because America’s spiritual roots run deep. According to Pew, 67 percent of adults, “say it is important for the president to have strong religious beliefs.”

This is the latest salvo in an ongoing battle over religious issues such as whether Christian adoption agencies must place children with homosexual couples and the banning of cultural manifestations of belief like the 10 Commandments in courtrooms or manger scenes in front of firehouses. What ties the tussles together is Big Brother’s hellbent mission to force faith out of the public realm. “When the government tampers with a freedom so fundamental to the life of our nation, one shudders to think what lies ahead,” Cardinal Dolan wrote in The Wall Street Journal about Obamacare’s attacks on faith.

The president’s blitz of negativity isn’t working out so well for him. His campaign is burning cash faster than he can raise it, while his poll numbers fade. With unemployment getting worse, the economy staggering, consumer confidence on the decline and gas prices rising, Mr. Obama can hardly run on his record so he’s reaching down into the darkness and playing dirty. Does anyone doubt that this man will do or say anything to hold onto power? Instead of hope and change, Mr. Obama now relies on the brute force of hate and the status quo. America’s better angels need to come to the fore.

Brett M. Decker is editorial page editor of The Washington Times. He is coauthor of the new book “Bowing to Beijing” (Regnery, 2011).

  • President Obama speaks Aug. 20, 2012, at the White House in Washington. (Associated Press)President Obama speaks Aug. 20, 2012, at the White House in Washington. … more >

The Labor Department paid out hundreds of thousands of dollars in federal stimulus funds to a public relations firm to run more than 100 commercials touting the Obama administration’s “green training” job efforts on two MSNBC cable shows, records show.

The commercials ran on MSNBC on shows hosted by Rachel Maddow and Keith Olbermann in 2009, but the contract didn’t report any jobs created, according to records reviewed recently by The Washington Times.

Spending reports under the federal Recovery Act show $495,000 paid to McNeely Pigott & Fox Public Relations LLC, which the Labor Department hired to raise awareness “among employers and influencers about the [Job Corps] program’s existing and new training initiatives in high growth and environmentally friendly career areas” as well as spreading the word to prospective Job Corps enrollees.

The firm ultimately negotiated ad buys for “two approved spots” airing 14 times per week for two months on “Countdown With Keith Olbermann” and “The Rachel Maddow Show,” according to a project report, which listed the number zero under a section of the report asking how many jobs had been created through the stimulus contract.

David Williams, president of the nonprofit watchdog Taxpayers Protection Alliance, called the contract “questionable” because it created no jobs and because of the placement of the ads on shows viewed as friendly to the administration’s policies.

“Hiring a PR firm does not create jobs, and this was obviously meant for selling a particular political agenda,” Mr. Williams said. “The placement really reeks of a political ad rather than a job ad, and taxpayers see through this.

“Taxpayers would be a lot happier at the end of the day to see a completed road rather than a bunch of ads on cable television,” he said.

The public relations firm did not respond to inquiries from The Times about who directed the ads to appear on MSNBC, but Labor Department officials defended the expenditures, saying the decision to place the ads on the network — now NBC News — had nothing to do with politics.

In a joint email statement to The Times from two Labor Department spokesmen, David Roberts and Michael Volpe, officials said the money was used for outreach efforts to raise awareness among potential employers about the Job Corps’ green training in career areas, including automotive, advanced manufacturing and solar-panel installation.

Mr. Roberts and Mr. Volpe also said Labor Department research showed that advertisements would reach the target demographic of business owners and managers interested in hiring “green-trained” employees through a programming list that initially also included shows hosted by CNN’s Larry King and public television’s Jim Lehrer as well as the two MSNBC programs where the ads eventually appeared.

Public television was eliminated because advertising rates were too high, Labor officials said, and Larry King was dropped because MSNBC held the potential to reach more viewers, officials said. Officials gave no indication whether their research indicated if Fox News, ESPN or other cable outlets were considered for the Job Corps ads.

The Labor Department said that as measured in “gross impressions per spot,” the two MSNBC shows — Mr. Olbermann is no longer with the network — were twice as effective compared with running ads on Mr. King’s show, which also is no longer on the air.

Mr. Obama signed the $829 billion stimulus into law in February 2009 with the promise it would sustain 3.5 million jobs. But at its peak it likely was responsible for far fewer, according to estimates by the Congressional Budget Office.

The president has since said the economy was in a deeper slump than he had predicted coming into office, and the White House says the stimulus’s combination of spending and tax cuts helped bolster state and local governments and keep the downturn from becoming a depression.

Republicans, though, argue that the price tag was too large and say much of the spending went to fund Mr. Obama’s political agenda, such as green energy programs, rather than to shovel-ready roads, bridges and other infrastructure projects.

The use of tax dollars to promote administration programs and policies is hardly new. The practice came under scrutiny from Democratic lawmakers who were upset about advertising during the George W. Bush administration.

In 2006, a Government Accountability Office (GAO) study requested by Democrats found more than $1.6 billion in public relations and media spending by the Bush administration during a two-year span.

A search of GAO reports in recent years doesn’t reveal any comparable studies reviewing public relations and media expenditures during the Obama administration. But federal purchasing records available online show thousands of contract actions since the change in administrations under specific purchasing codes both for advertising and public relations services.

Stephen Dinan contributed to this report.

OPSEC Video: Obama’s Dishonorable Disclosures

OPSEC are a band of Special Operators who have come together to hold the Obama administration accountable for its damaging leaks.

Intelligence and Special Operations forces are furious and frustrated at how President Obama and those in positions of authority have exploited their service for political advantage. Countless leaks, interviews and decisions by the Obama Administration and other government officials have undermined the success of our Intelligence and Special Operations forces and put future missions and personnel at risk.

The unwarranted and dangerous public disclosure of Special Forces Operations is so serious — that for the first time ever — former operators have agreed to risk their reputations and go ‘on the record’ in a special documentary titled “Dishonorable Disclosures.” Its goal is to educate America about serious breaches of security and prevent them from ever happening again.

Use of military ranks, titles & photographs in uniform does not imply endorsement of the Dept of the Army or the Department of Defense. All individuals are no longer in active service with any federal agency or military service.

Is this yet another Special Ops group that has formed to defeat Obama?

First there was Special Operations Speaks:

Mission Statement:

We, as veterans, legatees, and supporters of the Special Operations communities of all the Armed Forces, have noted with dismay and deep alarm the recent stream of highly damaging leaks of information about various aspects of America’s shadow war in the overall War on Terror.  Our principles are the same as when we were in active service — Duty, Honor, Country.

Our goals are:

  • To emphasize the pressing need for the nation and its representatives to understand the value of our Constitution and actively support a return to its application in all phases of government;
  • To illuminate the failed operational security environment of the Administration and to provide the public with accurate information about these repeated releases of highly classified information;
  • To restore accountability in government and with it the trust in our government that We The People deserve and demand.

Then,Special Operations for America:

Mission Statement:

  • Special Operations for America (SOFA) is committed to a strong and independent military that is capable of defending America’s freedoms and interests.
  • SOFA is dedicated to restoring strong leadership to the Office of the Commander-in-Chief and those senior officials appointed by the President.
  • SOFA believes in American exceptionalism along with leadership that does not minimize American greatness or politicize military achievements for personal gain.
  • SOFA pledges to accurately address issues that affect our military and those core threats to National Security.
  • SOFA will identify and provide accurate information on policies that harm or discredit our national security and those who bravely protect us.

and now OPSEC.

Mission Statement:

STOP the politicians, President Obama and others, from politically capitalizing on US national security operations and secrets!

EDUCATE the public on the importance and necessity of Operational Security in today’s environment.

To Do Nothing is not an option as that allows the special operations and intelligence capabilities to be degraded, and paraded around like a show dog…ACTION IS REQUIRED NOW!

Is it safe to say that our current Commander in Chief has stirred up a hornets nest with his cynical politicization of National Security?

I would have either left or had security escort his disgusting self out of the building. Life is too short to sit next to the likes of him. As long as he’s on The Five, I won’t watch anymore. SportsNation or something else for from now on.

I’m with Bryan here. Beckel makes any show he’s on unwatchable – does Fox not get that? His “cuss box” on The Five isn’t cute, and left-wing political operatives aren’t loveable to anyone who understands how much they are destroying this country.

And that goes for  Alan Colmes, Tamera Holder, Santita Jackson, and all the other tedious liberals Fox makes us endure for the sake of “balance”. I know what’s going to come out of their useless pie-holes before they do. It’s a complete waste of air time. /Rant off.
