There is ‘class’ and there is ‘no-class’

October 24, 2012

There are two campaigns being run right now for the office of the presidency. One campaign is demonstrative of a candidate that has class and restraint. And even though he is a “politician” I believe for the most part he is sincere when he says he will attempt to undo some of the damage and misery Barack Obama has done to America. The other campaign is quite the opposite. Barack Obama’s campaign is one demonstrative of a petty, immature, thin-skinned man who will use any lie and break campaign finance laws taking foreign money and has used Air Force One and the tax payers money to campaign endlessly.

Examples:  Obama campaign

This phony ad accusing Romney of murdering a guy’s wife.

7 Aug 2012  And don’t you just know his wife is up there in the ether cussing her man and counting the days until he joins her for a final round!

The Obama campaign hit a new low today with their latest personal attack against Mitt Romney. We have yet to see an ad running on President Obama’s record as president or his specific hopes and plans for a second term.

The Obama campaign calls Mitt Romney a liar.

Opinion Brief

The Obama campaign calls Mitt Romney a liar: Out of line?

Obama’s top advisers have busted out the L-word several times since the presidential debate

Ever since the presidential debate, President Obama’s supporters have hounded Mitt Romney for his apparent shifts in position on issues ranging from health care to tax reform. And they’re not using the euphemisms that are typically deployed in polite political discourse, instead calling Mitt an outright liar. David Plouffe, one of Obama’s top election gurus, has said Romney “lie[d] to 50 million Americans” during the first debate, while Brad Woodhouse of the Democratic National Committee added, “Plenty of people have pointed out what a liar Mitt Romney is.” Republicans are calling foul, saying the Obama campaign is engaging in a smear campaign. Is the Obama campaign out of line?

Romney is merely shifting to the center: “Romney has discovered his inner centrist,” says Michael Gerson at The Washington Post. “Democratic officials accused Romney of ‘outright fabricating’ and ‘basically lying'” about his positions, but in truth he is “tacking a bit toward the middle, as presidential candidates often do.” Sure, he is highlighting the more palatable components of his proposals, while downplaying less popular ones, but that’s not deception: “It is the nature of political persuasion.”
“Romney a liar? It’s a risky charge”

Romney lies. But Obama is no saint: All candidates “bend the truth, distort the facts, fudge the numbers, deceive, delude, hoodwink, equivocate, misrepresent, and, yes, lie, as a matter of course,” says Jack Shafter at Reuters. Romney gets “top honors for lying more frequently and more brazenly,” but Obama would just as easily “lie within 15 seconds of shaking your hand, and if he knew he were going to meet your mother, he’d invent a special set of lies for her.” Politicians have “learned that political markets rarely reward honest campaigners,” which is a reflection of the electorate’s preferences for “candidates who make them feel better” over those who tell hard truths.
“Why we vote for liars”

Actually, a lying Romney would be preferable: Whether Romney should be elected president “depends on how big a liar he is: The bigger the liar, the more acceptable he would be,” says Michael Kinsley at Bloomberg. “If he has been telling the truth about his beliefs and intentions for the past year or so, he’s plainly unacceptable. But if he’s been faking it — if he’s actually the classic moderate Republican businessman we suspect and not the conservative zealot he plays on TV [at least before the debate] — then it wouldn’t be the end of the world if he won.”
“Maybe President Romney wouldn’t be so bad”

The Romney campaign wouldn’t touch this.

Trumped-Up Charges? Republicans Rejected Man’s Claims That Obama Sold Cocaine In College

A man claiming to be a close pal to President Obama during college made contact with Republican operatives recently, ready to go public with claims that Obama used and sold cocaine in college, RadarOnline.com is reporting exclusively.

The operatives tried to spread the story through the media and the Romney campaign, a source close to the situation told Radar.

“At first he wanted to do a book,” a source close to the situation told RadarOnline.com about the alleged college pal. “But there just wasn’t enough time before the election.

“The people he is involved with have produced other credible information that is damaging to national Democratic figures in the past few years.”

Operatives close to the Romney campaign were contacted and rejected the information, the source told Radar.

“They didn’t want anything to do with it,” the source said. “They thought it was not anything they wanted to be associated with or anything their candidate would want to be associated with.”

In fact, the man’s charges about Obama never reached Mitt Romney.

A proposal of the man’s story was created and viewed by Radar. The document claims that there are multiple sources who can back up allegations that Obama used and sold cocaine in college.

The alleged pal was willing to go on the record for the story and take a polygraph test, according to the source.

“The operatives close to the Romney campaign believed the man’s story would be the ultimate October Surprise but they got nowhere.

“People who would have taken the information to the highest levels of Romney’s campaign just wouldn’t touch it.

“They don’t want their candidate smeared with this type of activity.”

They wouldn’t touch it, not because they didn’t believe the guy … they just wouldn’t stoop to the same tactics as the Obama campaign.

It’s common knowledge that Barack smoked his share of crack cocaine and marijuana and I’ve seen other reports about his drug use while “exploring” his homo-sexual fantasies. Folks, finding “dirt” on Barack Obama is elementary but we know the media hasn’t trod down that road with Barack. The last thing they want, is to be called racist. I really think a drug user is a drug user whether they are white or black and the label is color blind, and ‘equal opportunity’. I think the most amazing thing I’ve witnessed in the last four years is the complacency of the American people. I’m not sure if that is the right word … by now it isn’t ignorance. Perhaps denial. What I’m getting at is the fact that Barack Obama is a proven fraud. His entire life has been spent with and his ideology formed by Communists, socialists, and America hating radicals. His presidency has been the paragon of corruption and he single-handedly has created more division within the United States that will take generations to repair. Class warfare, racial division and a blatant disregard for the lives of U.S. military men and women.  Barack Obama hates America. I say that as I sit here trying to think of one thing … just one that he loves about it. Not in word but in deed, because his deeds reveal a much different picture than his words. But all the scandals, the deaths, the betrayal, lies, cover-ups and deceit; all the payoffs and bribes with taxpayer’s money … all this stuff means nothing to many Americans. I hear or read liberal bloggers that say people should respect the office of the presidency … huh??? what for? there’s a damn fraud squatting in that office that surely has no respect for it and what it’s supposed to represent.  One liberal blogger wrote … I do not drive expensive luxury cars and I do not own a huge mansion (or maybe more than one huge mansion) and I cannot afford all the luxuries that someone of intense wealth may enjoy.   I live in a different world from the elite and I need a President who has been there and done that with me and the rest of my kind.

This is the perfect example of what I’m talking about (writing). According to that guy … “To hell with America, the Constitution, freedom, liberty and a sovereign United States.” “I don’t care about all the scandals, the slaughter of innocents, the murder of American GI’s, and I don’t care that he invites terrorists into the White House and will sell out America to the Russians when he gets the ‘flexibility’ when re-elected” … “I just want the rich punished and my free stuff”.

Obama’s Bogus Zip Code Fundraising Problem

Three weeks ago, I brought you a story about President Obama’s illegal foreign campaign money loophole. As a refresher, President Obama’s campaign donation website does not have basic, industry standard security measures to prevent fraud and foreign donations according to a report done by the Government Accountability Institute [GAI].

Now, GAI is out with a second report examining reported financial contribution data on the Federal Election Commission website and to “determine the effectiveness of campaign anti-fraud security tools in weeding out online donations made using incomplete or inaccurate zip code entries” for both the 2012 Romney and Obama campaign donation websites. The report also examined 2008 election cycle sites.

In order to prevent this type of fraud, campaigns install an AVS or address verification system on their donation sites to process credit card transactions. The latest GAI report shows “the presense of large sums of donations without such basic address information suggests that some campaigns are using looser security settings than others.”

Although both the Romney and Obama campaigns showed fraud, GAI found the Obama campaign had a much higher amount.

-During calendar year 2012, the Obama campaign received at least $2,983,854.78 from donors who did not submit a zip code, or submitted one that do not exist.
-During calendar year 2012, the Romney campaign received at least $244,287.01 from donors who did not submit a zip code, or submitted one that do not exist.

The same thing happened in the 2008 election cycle.

-During calendar year 2008, the Obama campaign received at least $2,778,808.97 from donors who did not submit a zip code, or submitted one that do not exist.
-During calendar year 2008, the McCain campaign received at least $431,046.00 from donors who did not submit a zip code, or submitted one that do not exist.

Although it is impossible to tell from the outside whether a campaign is using AVS on its donation site, GAI examined how many donations were accepted by the campaigns with clearly erroneous zip codes based on FEC data. From the report:

We only selected data reported by the campaign as “no zip code was supplied,” zip codes with only four digits, zip codes reading all zeros, and five-digit zip codes which were non-existent. We also considered the refunds given by the campaigns to contributors with invalid zip codes.

Our study sought to determine the relative robustness of campaign AVS settings.

It should be noted that FEC filings only reflect contributors who have given more than $200. Thus, the actually number of total donations which don’t contain accurate zip code information is probably much higher.

Based on findings in GAI’s first report and the findings here, it is clear the Obama campaign has major problems with donation security and potential fraud. Because of this, GAI recommends the following:

The Government Accountability Institute has called for campaigns to release the names of all campaign contributions, require donors to enter their credit card security code (CVV), and utilize a robust AVS to maintain the integrity of U.S. federal elections.
