Students Suspended For Holding Airsoft Guns In Photo Taken In Living Room

Two Massachusetts high school sweethearts—Tito Velez and Jamie Pereira—are suspended from school after posing with Airsoft toy guns for a photograph at home before attending a homecoming dance last week.

Pereira and Velez are students at Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical School. The photo was taken by Velez’s father in their living room and then posted to Facebook.

According to, Pereira said, “We took [the pictures] with the Airsoft guns because that’s our hobby, and we wanted to include them.” But school officials argue that the photo caused “a disruption at the school.”

School district superintendent Dr. Richard Gross said he didn’t have a problem with the Airsoft guns, and he understands free speech. However, he “takes issue with the caption below the photo that reads ‘Homecoming 2014.'” He added: “When you tie that to a school event, that’s something to be concerned about.”

Velez defended the couple’s photograph on CBS Boston, explaining that the guns are toys that shoot plastic pellets. Yet Dr. Gross said the entire homecoming dance would have been canceled had police discovered the photo prior to the start of the event.

The suspension may last as long as 10 days, although the superintendent says there will be a hearing to consider reducing the punishment.

After I take photos of family or other functions, I always title it with descriptive words so that years later, when I feel nostalgic, and look at pictures of times gone by, I’ll know when and where the shots were taken.  I don’t see the difference here.  Gross claimed that had the police known about the photo, they would have shut down the dance altogether.  I tend to believe that as Massachusetts is a state in which Islamic terrorists live and torment Americans whenever their paths cross.  That state is like a third-world country, surrounded on all sides, by states of the United States of America.  Massachusetts’ state legislative body leans so far Left it lies on its side, and it continues to rotate.  Here’s a thought, I wonder if Dr. Richard Gross is a racist!?  Hmmmmmmmmmm . . . .

This is our last appeal.  Anyone and everyone who will be attending and has not informed us – we need to know now.  The March has changed.  There will no longer be a specified route for the Cross Country March.

We will hold the specified route concept in abeyance until next year when it will be reevaluated. For a variety of reasons we are cancelling the specified route for the March and each person will be responsible for getting to the Muster Point in their own way. You may construct your own March, you may fly in to D.C., take your RV or develop any scenario you so desire to reach the Muster Point to meet on September 17, 2014 (Constitution Day).

The Muster Point this year will be the Springfield Mall in Springfield, VA. We will meet from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at the Muster Point. We will then travel from there by METRO to the Capitol. The Springfield Mall is very close to the intersection of I-95 and I-495. The Springfield Mall is bounded on the North by Franconia Road E., on the East by Frontier Road, on the South by Spring Mall Rd., and on the West by Loisdale Road. We will meet on the South section of the mall on Spring Mall Rd. about halfway between Loisdale Road and Frontier Road. From the Southeast corner of the Springfield Mall it is only about ¼ mile to the METRO Franconia-Springfield Station from where we will take the BLUE Line getting off at the METRO L’Enfant  Station and walking four blocks to the meeting point. It is almost impossible to park in D.C. on a weekday and even if you can find a place it will cost you $50 to $60 to park whereas the METRO station parking is $4.75. The total cost to park and ride the METRO round trip will be about $15.

There are no public restrooms (except for emergencies) on the METRO trains or in the METRO stations. When we get to the meeting point there will be restrooms available. You have been warned! Take precautions as necessary. There is a restaurant near the Comfort Inn off Loisdale Road that serves breakfast and has restrooms. There is also a restaurant just off Franconia Road E. in the Springfield Mall.

The METRO ride to the Capitol takes about 30 minutes. We will meet on the lawn between the Capitol and the Washington Monument and directly across from the Air and Space Museum on that side of the lawn.

There are hotels/motels on Loisdale Road near the Northwest portion of the Springfield Mall. They are the Hilton Hotel, Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn and the Courtyard Marriott. The Marriott is slightly farther than the others and is near the intersection of Loisdale Road and Franconia Road W. Those of you who fly in to Reagan Airport and do not wish to rent a car may get on the Blue Line at Reagan Airport and go to the Franconia-Springfield Station and walk to one of the hotels/motels mentioned above. The walk is about ½ mile. Reservations suggested.

Dress and act like the fine patriotic people you are. If you wish to wear military apparel that is fine. If you are active duty military get permission from your commander before wearing any active duty military apparel.

We are planning on making this an annual event. Be thinking of how we can get some publicity, local news coverage, TV, or whatever. Anyone may participate in this march and they do not have to be enlisted with us. We will leave the Capitol at approximately 6:00 P.M. and return to the Muster Point. At approximately 7:00 P.M. we will meet for dinner at a location near the Muster Point to be announced on September 17.

We need people to be at the Muster Point so we can go to Washington D.C. and make our complaints clear.  Did you read the five quotes at the top of this report? If not, read them again. This is the time. We especially need the people from VA, MD, DE, WV, TN, NC and other nearby states to come help us on September 17. Bring any like-minded people you know with you – the more people we have the more government areas we can cover. We need to cover the Congress, Supreme Court, the IRS and as many Executive Branch offices as we can. There is no need to go to the White House since it will not do any good.

Respond to if you are planning to attend.

We need patriots in Washington, D.C. on September 17.

If you absolutely cannot come, we need you to pass out flyers in your local area on September 17. If you cannot pass them out on September 17 pass them out as closely as you possibly can to September 17. The best place to pass them out is at your nearest military installation – we need to remind our military of their oath. If you cannot get to a military installation pass them out at your local federal government offices. IRS offices or any federal court is good. Find a federal government agency near you and pass them out. As a last resort go to your local Post Office and pass them out. Before you go to any of these federal government entities make sure you do some reconnaissance and find out what the rules are. We want to do all of this in a perfectly legal manner and we want to pass these flyers out all over the nation.

Some of you are disappointed because we are only passing out flyers. This is what we can do at this time. If it helps you to visualize this look at the flyer as your weapon, look at the words on the flyer as your ammunition, and look at the work in D.C. as maneuvers and reconnaissance.

The flyers are extremely important to what we are attempting to accomplish. The first step is to make crystal clear what your complaint consists of in the shortest possible way. Anything over one page is too long and no one will read it. It must be short and to the point. During Operation American Spring they passed out large packets with volumes of information inside. No one will read that much information unless they are being paid to do so. We want a short printed record of our position that cannot be misunderstood.

Let us know as soon as possible if you will be coming to the Muster Point and how many you will be bringing. People do not have to be enlisted to participate.

As many of you know, we are spending our first year only recruiting. We will never stop recruiting of course, but we will have other objectives in addition to recruiting after our first year.  This web site was launched on September 17 (Constitution Day), 2013 and we started recruiting about 5 days later.

TX still leads in total recruits with 10.4% of all recruits. Following TX is CA (8.0%) FL (7.2%) NC (4.2%) GA (3.8%) PA (3.4%) TN (3.3%) NY (3.3%). CA and PA both had a good month.

Based upon state population for states with over two million in population the top eight are:  TN MS AL NV SC NC OK KY. OK and KY both had a good showing in August. States with under two million in population are led by WY, NH, ME, ID and NE.

This paragraph is not statistically accurate and is an approximation since some of our enlistees do not give us complete information. Our female enlistees are staying at about 4 out of every 10. About 45% of all enlistees (including some female) have military experience. We have every military grade from E-1 to E-9, W1 to W4, and O-1 to O-7. We have military with Silver Stars, Bronze Stars and Purple Hearts. We have military with all types of training and awards. Of all enlistees about 65% are in the age category 40-60. About 20% are over 60 and about 15% are under 40. Our over 60 people increased in August. We had several people enlist in August who were born in the 40s and early 50s with military experience – these are almost all Vietnam veterans. This is why we increased our over 60 percentage from 15% to 20%. We also had some younger people enlist in August and that is encouraging.

Recruiting in Nov. 2013 exceeded Oct. 2013 by 24%. Recruiting in Dec. 2013 exceeded Nov. 2013 by 43%. Recruiting in Jan. 2014 exceeded Dec. 2013 by 97%. January enlistees reached 95% of all the previous months combined. Jan. 2014 was a huge month. In February, due to various technical problems, we were only able to recruit for 18 of the 28 days. It is therefore unfair to compare February to any other month. Still, in February and despite all the setbacks, we exceeded our recruiting totals for every other previous month except January 2014 – those results were extremely encouraging. March 2014 was our seventh largest recruiting month. April 2014 was our third largest recruiting month. May 2014 was our sixth largest recruiting month. June 2014 was our fourth largest recruiting month almost reaching April 2014. We are extremely encouraged by the May and June results since often in late May and early June people will not participate due to graduations, vacations and weddings. July 2014 was our largest recruiting month topping January 2014 by 20%. July 3, 4, 5 were our 4th, 5th, and 3rd largest recruiting days ever as the patriotic spirit was kindled by Independence Day. August, in spite of several minor technical problems that hampered us parts of the entire month, was our fifth largest recruiting month just missing June.

During the first five full months after September 2013 we had already surpassed our recruiting goal for the entire first year. Thank you to each one of you for your courage and patriotism. We do not give out strength reports but we can tell everyone that our total strength is >1,000 and <10,000.

We are now in all 50 states, and 11 other countries. We also have enlistees in Washington, D.C. and Puerto Rico. Most of the people enlisted in other countries are Americans living outside the United States. We are like Washington’s Continental Army, however, in the sense that we will welcome help from anyone who is a patriot and wants to see our Constitution restored.

What is the most encouraging are the many people who have enlisted from small towns in America. This is a small town revolution – the people who have not been heard are beginning to speak up. While we have enlistees in many major cities, it is the voices in small town America that ring loudest. The Founder has been in all 50 states and has never heard of many of these cities so we have been looking them up on the Internet – impressive. Find the people in your small town who are fed up and get them enlisted and then form a unit in your town.

As a change of pace this month (and to see if you are paying attention) we have listed below the cities in each state that have the most people enlisted. Many of these are as expected but you will also find some surprises in the list.

Wasilla AK              Huntsville AL         Hot Springs AR         Phoenix AZ

San Diego CA         Denver CO             New Haven CT         Frankford DE

Jacksonville FL       Atlanta GA             Honolulu HI              Des Moines IA

Meridian ID            Chicago IL              Indianapolis IN        Wichita KS

Louisville KY           Shreveport LA       Boston MA               Baltimore MD

Portland ME           Lansing MI             St. Paul MN              St. Louis MO

Laurel MS               Butte MT                Raleigh NC               Richardton ND

Omaha NE             Concord NH           Toms River NJ          Albuquerque NM

Las Vegas NV         Rochester NY         Toledo OH                Tulsa OK

Portland OR           Philadelphia PA     Wakefield RI             Anderson SC

Rapid City SD         Nashville TN           San Antonio TX        Salt Lake City UT

Virginia Beach VA Plainfield VT           Spokane WA            Milwaukee WI

Princeton WV        Greybull WY

Notes: In the event of a tie we awarded it to the city with the smallest population. New York City, NY would have been the largest in NY except many people signed up by borough and we didn’t add all the boroughs together as one group.

The United States Freedom Army is concerned about continuous constitutional violations in the five areas listed in the attached flyer. These violations are listed in their relative order of importance and are so long running and egregious they can no longer be condoned. The flyer attached to this report delineates these grievances. You may use it to make copies and pass it out at any meetings, at the VFW Hall, post it on billboards, give it to friends, or whatever you may decide.

NOTE: On September 17 we will be passing out these flyers in Washington, D.C. We need as many people there as possible so we can reach as many people as possible in the three branches of our federal government. We need to know as soon as possible how many people will be at the Muster Point on September 17. If you cannot participate with us in Washington D.C. we will have other things for you to do in your local area on that day. See the section above “Cross Country March on Washington D.C.” for more updated information.

We realize that the information in the note above will disappoint some people but it is the best we can do at this point in time given all the circumstances. We want to do the best we can to achieve distribution of our flyer and make the feelings of everyone regarding the abuse of the United States Constitution known.

The flyer itself has a camouflage background and a gold stripe but it was designed so it can be copied in either color or black & white. When copied in black & white it loses the camouflage and gold stripe but is still effective and is very inexpensive to copy in black & white. The words are what count and the words are what we wish to communicate.

The website post this month will be about the Constitutional Freedom March. We want people who log on to the website to know that an event is taking place and to encourage them to enlist and participate.

We support all efforts by any organization to “resurrect” the United States Constitution. Whenever we hear about any effort to restore the Constitution we will record it here.

We are a group of people who want to see the United States Constitution followed and, by implication, this leviathan federal government dismantled. We intend to follow all laws and proceed peacefully to attempt to achieve this goal. This is the thrust of our effort at this time.

We are not at present a militia but circumstances in the future may alter that situation. What we do or become depends upon what occurs in Washington, D.C. and what occurs in D.C. may alter our goals and approach. Since we cannot see into the future it is not possible to say what may be required as time passes and events unfold.

MY TWO SENSE: Gun Control vs. The People by JUST ME

August 22, 2013  11:35

Gun Rights vs. Victim Rights–The gun control debate has been going on since the beginning of time and all over the world.  Those countries in which gun control laws exist and keep guns out of the hands of citizens, are the same countries with oppressive governments.  Oppression can be said to be in the eye of the beholder, or the one being oppressed, however, in this case, gun removal/confiscation from citizens, necessarily requires that government oppress the Constitutional rights of gun owners, American citizens.

While Americans are protected under the Second Amendment, government is not Constitutionally allowed to “infringe” upon gun ownership.  The word “infringe” means to create laws, or regulations, or otherwise impose restrictions upon the freedom of Americans to own gun(s).  Because we live in a civilized society, although how civilized is not clear, we must have some laws and regulations which offer guidelines and boundaries of such ownership.  Just as in the case of ownership of other personal property, we have commonsense responsibilities  and duties with which to comply so that we may have streets, utilities, and other things we’ve come to view as “necessities” of life.  Remember, that although we may determine those things necessities of life, they are not Constitutional ‘rights,’ they are not laid out within our Constitution, and the average individual must work in order to pay for the use of such things.  Those who can’t, or won’t, are generously given entitlements to those things that others pay for.  (That, in itself, is a form of redistribution of wealth, although that’s another subject!)

Please, bear with me.  The United States Constitution provides Americans with certain ‘natural rights’ which means, by virtue of being a human, by being a natural member of mankind, we are born with certain inalienable rights that are not granted by government but rather are intrinsic to human beings, the stewards of the rest of the living world.  One of the intrinsic rights we human beings have is two-fold; one, the right to defend our life and property without government infringing upon that right, and second, because our freedom is a facet of our personal property, we have a duty to protect it, not only for the present and for ourselves but also for future generations.  A people cannot protect themselves, their property, or the future of freedom without the tools to do so–guns.  No other defense weapon, for private ownership, has ever been invented that does a better job!  Imagine you are at home, you in one room of your home, and your partner in another room.  Someone breaks into your home.  Your loved one and you are separated, you in one room, your loved one in another.   The intruder has a gun held to your loved one’s head and on his knees.  Now, imagine your only defensive weapon is a baseball bat, crowbar, or other some such weapon that you could use, but it is no match for the weapon in the intruder’s hand.  What will you do?  You will wish you had a comparable fighting chance at survival for you and the person you love.  Now, imagine that an Administration, in the distant future, if you like, has designs on turning your beloved freedom into slavery, serfdom, or other indentured servitude.  This has happened before in every past and current dictator-ruled, nation.  First, the guns are always confiscated from the citizenry.  After that, everything is downhill going.  Now, you may be willing to allow such a takeover of your liberties, but there are a multitude of those who will not give up quietly.  And whether, or not, you realize it, those people in the past, who were just as unwilling to accept servitude, are the people to which we owe our  gratitude for the freedom we have today–freedom we are losing quickly today.

When we allow some to dictate to the rest what rights they may or may not keep, we are oppressing.  The Founders provided a process for which we may make changes to our Constitution if, and when we feel the need.  That is the appropriate way to make this kind of change.  The debate we are having in this country over gun control is not about saving lives, and it is not about safety.  If it were, then as I described above, it would only be a matter of time before all other areas of our lives would be dictated to for the sake of safety.  Even our Founders knew that to exchange freedom for a degree of security is a very, very bad and dangerous thing for a free country.

Gun control, even minimal infringement, is not, and never has been about safety or saving lives.  It is about controlling the people.  And it comes with a very big caveat!  When people willingly hand over the Constitutional liberty to own guns, they do so with the same consequences for the future—a future in which leaders/rulers with designs on ruling with an iron, dictatorial fist is easily done!  A current Administration without such designs does not secure the future.  It is the people, and the people only, who maintain, or give away their freedom. History shows us, government takeovers always begin with gun confiscation!  Armed revolution is rarely the case, and a successful usurpation of government  happens without the peoples’ notice.  A nudge here–a nudge there–and before the people know it, a free country is under the thumb of a dictator.  Why risk the only last line of resistance a people have against tyranny?  Why risk life and limb and that of loved ones when actual safety can be in one’s own hands if one chooses it?

Our Founders wrote about duty to defend the Constitution they gave us.  They wrote about our duty to place in office those that would not infringe upon any of our natural,  inalienable rights.  They placed upon us, the people, the burden to remain watchful over our natural rights, and over those we choose to represent us.  We lost sight of that job, and when we did, we lost our American history to the extent that we no longer know the difference between a natural right and an entitlement–between a Republic, which the US has always been, and a Democracy–between a negative right and a positive one.  Because we are Americans, born here, or immigrated here and taken on American citizenship, we are assigned to protect that freedom from an oppressive government.

What will it take to stop any and all violence against life?  Although a very small percentage of gun deaths are by the mentally ill, most of the mass shootings are perpetrated by mentally ill individuals.  America has a dim view of anyone with a mental issues, and sadly, no amount of political correctness has made a dent in our preconceived notions about the “crazy!”  We do not understand the definition of mental illness.  We don’t know that one issue is different from another.  We don’t know that the vast majority, likely in the upper ninety percentile, of those suffering from mental health issues are not more dangerous than anybody else.  And when there is danger to life, it is to that of the sufferer and not another.  We all could be better informed about the myriad facets of mental health, but I don’t see that in my life time.  Again, the mentally ill are not the typical killer, and murder happens due to many, many variables leading up to a specific moment-the moment one chooses to act in such a way that it either injures or kills another human being.  There are as many reasons to kill as there are tools with which to do it.  Thus, the fact that we live and are in this current place on the evolutionary path, are the reasons that some kill, but most do not.  Killing is simply a fact of our life at present.

As Americans, we all must also think about the future consequences of our present actions, for the sake of those in the future.  We must realize that guns DO NOT kill–people kill using guns, cars, blunt objects, sharp objects, poisons, and on and on.  A killer will kill regardless of tool. Criminals will have guns regardless of the law. They always have and they always will.  They do not go through the legal process as do low-abiding citizens.  As for accidental deaths by guns, they are a matter of life’s tragedies, as are accidental deaths by drowning, crashes, falling, overdosing, poison, and on and on.  So, if the real goal is to cut down on death, then we will eventually have to remove everything that could possibly cause death.   You may think this argument ridiculous, but history and science makes it clear to us that, given the opportunity and the means, man will always go toward the darker side of a choice.  That, too, is human nature.  The saying goes, a camel’s nose under the tent, is as good as a camel inside the tent!

Why must we concern ourselves about a remote possibility that a dictator will rule America one day?  Because, as I said above, it’s human nature, and man is insatiable.  Given wealth, he strives for more wealth, and then all wealth.  Given power, he strives for more power, and then all power.  And given control, man ultimately strives for total control!  Easily done when there is no resistance.

THE DAILY CALLER by NRA-ILA (MY TWO SENSE: Piers, like many Progressives, lie to support their unsupportable claims because they believe they are outsmarting the rest of us and that they are so important no one would dare question their word. Does everyone know that old Piers was editor of a scandal sheet? What does that tell us about his use of hyperboles so freely? JM)

Gun lies: Piers Morgan tells a whopper

If you have the misfortune to be familiar with Piers Morgan, the British former tabloid “reporter” and “talent judge” known on this side of the Atlantic as CNN’s most overbearing gun control proselytizer, you won’t be surprised at what he did on Tuesday.

It began during an interview with military history expert A.W.R. Hawkins, as Morgan pushed his theory that more gun ownership leads to more crime. Hawkins disagreed, noting that Virginia had recently experienced a significant increase in gun ownership, followed by a significant decrease in violent crime.

The insufferable Morgan then counter-claimed that, according to the FBI, no less, Virginia had the highest murder rate in the United States in 2009. Morgan’s statement would have been true only if 25 states had seceded in 2008, however, and according to the FBI’s 2009 crime report, there were still 50 states in 2009 and Virginia ranked 26thamong them in murder, with a rate 12 percent lower than the national rate.

Virginia’s more recent figures are even more impressive. According to the FBI’s 2011 crime report, from 2010 to 2011 Virginia’s murder rate dropped 20 percent, to 29th in the nation, 21 percent below the national rate. As the Richmond Times-Dispatch reported last year, “Gun-related violent crime in Virginia has dropped steadily over the past six years as the sale of firearms has soared to a new record. . . . The total number of firearms purchased in Virginia increased 73 percent from 2006 to 2011. . . . But the total number of gun-related violent crimes fell 24 percent over that period.”

You would think Morgan had a better handle on the question of rankings, considering that he ranks far down the list among cable news shows, behind Hannity, O’Reilly and a host of other programs.

Apartment managment company has issued new rules for apartment dwellers; “Get rid of your gun(s) or get out!”  Since when does any business have a legal right to take away the Constitutional rights of an American citizen with the stroke of a pen?  Without cause?  Without explanation?  Without discussion?  We are indeed living under Communist rule, and anyone who does not see that, is blind.

Articles below tell of more chilling tales of the Obama regime.  If you think you are free, you need to think again!

Outrage of the Week: Middle school curriculum is teaching that Americans don’t have the right to bear arms

By NRA’s Institute for Legislative Action

This week’s outrage comes to us from the state of Connecticut–the “Constitution State”–where  a father says his son’s middle school curriculum is teaching that Americans don’t have the right to bear arms.

According to a story, Steven Boibeaux’s son, a student a Northeast Middle School in Bristol, Conn., was given a social studies worksheet titled, “The Second Amendment Today.”  The worksheet, published by Instructional Fair, claims that, “The courts have consistently determined that the Second Amendment does not ensure each individual the right to bear arms,” and that, “The courts have never found a law regulating the private ownership of weapons unconstitutional.”

If anyone had bothered to check, they would know that, in 2008, the U.S. Supreme Court historically ruled in the case of District of Columbia v. Heller that the Second Amendment does indeed ensure an individual the right to bear arms, as our founding fathers wrote and intended.

The worksheet also asserts that Second Amendment rights “are not extended to the individual citizens of the states, so a person has no right to complain about a Second Amendment violation by state laws.” That is contrary to the U.S. Supreme Court’s 2010 decision in McDonald v. City of Chicago.

The worksheet further concludes the Second Amendment “only provides the right of a state to keep an armed National Guard”–a view that no Supreme Court justice endorsed in either case.

“I am appalled,” said Mr. Boibeaux.  “It sounds to me like they are trying to indoctrinate our kids.   I’m more than a little upset about this.  It’s not up to the teacher to determine what the Constitution means.”

The teacher also told the students that the Constitution is a “living document,” which, according to the worksheet, means “the interpretation changes to meet the needs of the times.”

“The judges and courts of each generation provide the interpretation of the document,” the worksheet states.

Mr. Boibeaux called that concept mind-boggling.  We call it outrageous.

Does anyone know who this person is?  We should be able to recognize domestic enemies of our nation.  This person’s degree of hatred is the fuel that drives those who blame others for everything gone wrong in their pathetic lives.  They are dangerous in thought and action.  Who is this person?  Note, the number of his “Followers.”  Note the number of those he follows.  This person is a loner.

The children need better role models! Barrack Obama has been such an inspiration for many youth, especially minorities, who now realize how “cool” it is to be educated and successful.( and that they don’t have to be an athlete or rapper to be considered “cool”) They now realize that they have this window of possibility that they didn’t think they had before; That if they dedicate themselves to their education they can eventually do anything they want. Obama has inspired a whole generation to hit the books and do better with their lives. Conservatives may not realize it yet but in the coming decades, a whole legion of progressive and Obama inspired politicians will come into their own and into power in numbers that would make any tea party supporter have a panic attack, especially if they realized the magnitude of the cultural revolution that’s taken place.

Fast food is definitely a killer. Processed foods with MSG, colas, all the junk the food industry puts in our food supply are addictive but slow killers. It kills brain cells, slows mental function, causes obesity, etc … If school lunches were healthier, it would go a long way toward correcting behavior problems and increasing brain functioning, thus having the affect of increasing test scores. Of course, America is so divided that when someone on the left points something like this out, conservatives want to go out and do the opposite (which means, poisoning themselves just to spite mean old Michelle , who wants our kids to be healthier)

So many Americans are VERY lazy and preoccupied with entertainment and playing, where citizens in other countries have better work ethic … That’s partly what it comes down to: , we have so many spoiled, lazy children in America. It’s a parenting problem more so than a problem with teachers and schools.

ps., On a side note: there ARE welfare leeches and people who use handouts as a crutch. We should definitely put more tax money toward building rehabilitation programs to help these people take more responsibility. Conservatives do NOT hold a monopoly on strong work ethic and personal responsibility, though they do have some valid points about the welfare system — although they paint with too wide a brush and seem to have no compassion for the many people who DO need it.

It’s not a matter of it “being too late” — America was meant to be a melting pot of cultures. I wouldn’t change a thing about that aspect of this country. Islam will never have the numbers here to pose any danger of “taking over” … They do serve their purpose however, both of your barbaric religions (Christianity and Islam) fighting it out as you do is helping to usher in a new generation of humans who are entirely against religion altogether. They see your constant fear mongering and want no part of it ! My agenda is that of driving society forward and leaving RELIGION behind and the destructive behaviors of both religions will lead to diminishing numbers for both. I would love for a scientific based society to eventually establish a New World Order and an elected government that represents the world. It will take a while and probably quite a few more wars. In the mean time, the best I can do as an activist is support any cause that helps convince people to stay away from RELIGION altogether. Keep your ancient religions out of the classroom and promote the NWO ideology to the youngest generation who will one day carry the torch and help this united world come into fruition. The best propaganda against your Christian cause comes from your own mouths. If mocking you and constantly ridiculing you makes you angrier, than that serves a purpose — because the angrier you get and the more you lose your cool, the more insane things you say, the easier it will be to convince the masses that you are an insane relic of the past and that it’s time to move on.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

It’s no big secret that Islamists would like to spread their religion and dominate as much as society as they can. Religions are like that in general ; Islam is a little more of a threat to the established order and something Christians are obviously not comfortable with. It’s not against the LAW to have an ideology and plans to propagate and dominate a society with the ideology. What is your solution other than your usual bluster?

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

I know you find their religion in utter contempt of everything you hold dear. We get that. You people repeat this same mantra on a daily basis on here. What’s your point? Do you *EVER* *EVER* offer any solutions? What’s the point in saying the SAME THING OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER. It doesn’t solve problems. It doesn’t change things. WHAT IS YOUR SOLUTION?

By the way, I know many of them probably DO want their religion to spread and they would LOVE to have control of the U.S. They don’t have the numbers to accomplish this here but it would be a real possibility if they did. It’s not against the law to have an ideology that you wish to become dominate and powerful in America. If so, Christians would have been outlawed long ago.

Hating and spreading condemnation of this religion will not solve a single problem in this world –or get ANY results other than convincing a few people to join this useless hobby – all it does is create a more complex problem.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

If they don’t observe U.S. laws they will be punished accordingly. This is a no-brainer.

I don’t like their religion “AT ALLLL ” (as Andy Griffith would say) … But you know what? I don’t like Satanists either. Or Southern Baptists for that matter. If I HATED southern baptists (which I don’t, just dislike em) – What good would it do me if I went around bad mouthing them on a daily basis. If I made that a part of my everyday life, what PURPOSE would that serve? How would it do ME or southern baptists or anyone else any good? Seems to me life is way too short to dedicate yourself to hating and scorning something that you don’t have a chance in hell of altering or changing. Life goes by WAY too quickly to consume yourself with such a useless dead end hobby.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

I’m southern Baptist by birth, Independent and free of organized religion by adulthood and very satisfied with my ever evolving political and spiritual ideology.

Are you a skinhead or KKK? Just asking!

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

American Muslims homeland is here in America. They are human beings and will continue to propagate and grow in numbers. If you religious zealots are worried about being outnumbered, perhaps you should have more kids! That’s your only moral solution.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

“We’ve done nothing to harm them so why the hate??”

      Hate breeds hate.

But lets just ignore that fact and KEEP THROWING FUEL on the FIRE. That’s going to solve a lot of problems! Seriously guys – How does constantly demonizing their religion and ridiculing everything about them SOLVE ANY PROBLEMS? We still have laws in this country that protect the law abiding among them. They aren’t going any where. What purpose does it serve to continually burn bridges with the muslims who AREN’T part of the extremist problem (and whom could potentially be a SOLUTION)

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

I asked you for solutions to the problem. All I get are more silly personal attacks and no solutions. Of course you have no solutions, all you have is bluster.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

How do you go about eliminating something that in ingrained in humanity and society? There are millions of people like me who are just living their lives in America, working, playing, enjoying life, learning ..Many of us happen to have some communist viewpoints — How do you eliminate something like that ? Make certain thoughts or ideologies a “Thought Crime” ? How would you go about punishing people for “thought crimes” ?

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

“by making us all cowards who hide our heads in the sand while the enemy invades.”

So if my way is the way of the “Coward” — You must think what you’re doing is “Bravery” ? What does your bravery accomplish? How do you propose to put a stop to this dangerous religion? I see a lot of bluster from you but never any solutions.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

“So bottom line….according to you we should all just shut the he** up, appease the Muslims, and let them take over”

According to ME I made no such statement but that never stops people like you from making false accusations just to further your agenda.

I asked you for “solutions” .. You know, LEGAL solutions. If you think they’re taking over and people like me are willing to “let it happen” — Tell me how I could change to better serve your agenda? What would I accomplish if more people like me took to your side of the aisle and started constantly obsessing over the issue and constantly yelling my condemnations? How does yelling condemnations SOLVE ANY PROBLEMS? How does what you’re doing help “Stop them from “taking over” ?

“Peaceful” Muslims Destroy Dozens of WW2 Headstones

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

Of course. They broke the law, the individuals responsible should and WILL likely be held accountable. That’s not what I was getting at .. My issue is that you take and lump all Muslims in the same category when most aren’t law breakers. They are just human beings like you or I, with the same needs, desires, hopes and dreams. Most of them are just living their lives trying to survive in this tough world and take care of and feed their families. I hear this same tired rant about the “evils of ISLAM” on an hourly basis on sites like this — So you have a point, many aspects of their Koran are quite unpleasant and even barbaric. We get that… but how does repeating this DO anything to solve any issues?

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

I see a lot of condemnation by people like you of these muslims. I NEVER see any solutions. What is your solution that doesn’t involve breaking the law?

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

      “and why they are infiltrating”

Same reason the IRISH “infiltrated” this country…. and every other race/color/creed of people who “infiltrated” this country. They are human beings. You lose sight of their humanity and dehumanize them to such a degree that you lose a bit of your own humanity.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

Will work about as well as your silly petition to deport Piers Morgan. It’s an exercise in futility.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

Satanism is not healthy either but we can’t stop people from taking part in that.

What good does it do to OBSESS so much over this Muslim issue when there is nothing that you or I can do to change things .. I know ATLAS shrugs type spreading of hostility does absolutely no good – What has Pamela Geller accomplished? You’ll obviously say she’s “Waken people up” — Well SO WHAT? There are more angry Americans who obsess over this issue now. What GOOD does that do? You offer no solutions , just hostility and hatred. I’m not even saying hatred is unwarranted in response to the horrific things Extremists have done who belong to that religion. So , even if Pam convinces 80% of America to join her side – WHAT good does it do? You have 80% of the people who are angry and unwilling to see the humanity in anyone who belongs to that religion – It will just further the divide and lead to more instances of “revenge” type hostile actions toward Muslims living here. That will in turn lead to more anger and a feeling of victimization from Muslims here –which could lead to even more hostile encounters with them. It’s certainly not going to lead to peace! It’s certainly not going to lead to any PROBLEMS BEING SOLVED. and those of you on the FAR RIGHT fringes will NEVER get your wish of “mass deportations” or banning of this religion or their holy book. That won’t happen. SO WHAT GOOD DOES IT DO??

“Obama and his radical leftists, while reaching out to build ”bridges of understanding” with the Muslim world”

Yes and Pamela Geller and your type aim to do the opposite, to BURN bridges. What does that accomplish? It doesn’t stop Muslims from wanting to live here. It doesn’t stop Muslims who already live here from wanting to continue to live here. It doesn’t stop new Muslims from coming here. (Even the most far right members of congress realize that THAT would be an impossibility)

“And BTW…we ALREADY have a president who is willing to ignore the constitution…and YOU put him in office.”

Actually, I didn’t vote for either candidate. I have moral objections to voting for presidents in this country (due to Abortion , wars, etc) You slander me yet again on something you are clueless about. For the most part I support Obama over the republican candidate but there are many issues I support NEITHER on.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

If you type in google “Muslims condemn Boston attack” – You will find MANY instances where they in fact ARE condemning it. Of course you won’t do this because you’ve already made up your mind and that information goes against your narrow-minded dishonest agenda.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

“I’m trying to listen to the outrage from the non-extremist Muslims as they condemn what the rest of us condemns.”

I guess you chose not to listen to what the UNCLE had to say….

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

You’re not going to be able to stop Islam in America…that whole “freedom of religion” thing isn’t going anywhere unless you’re willing to give up Christianity too (then we might make a compromise)

The thing is, All the PANICKING you do and all the hate and hostility you express them will DO NOTHING good, it will only make hostilities worse and tempers flare more often. People like you are making the situation worse. For if you have no earthly CHANCE of getting rid of them (you don’t … Even if you found and elected a president tyrannical enough to ignore the constitution on this issue (we would find any means necessary to get rid of such a president) – you will not get your way on this, what on earth is the POINT of your behavior? What do you want?

You meet that criteria because you are an absolutely fanatical nutcase who wallows in completely debunked and nutty conspiracy theories; You hate the government and are not afraid to make physical death threats against government or other citizens you disagree with … You are ABSOLUTELY not a committed Christian, you are the opposite. Committed christians don’t spend all their time lying about and slandering other people online on blogs.

Find me a left leaning blog or website that comes anywhere close to the level of conspiracy nuttery it .. I’ve already mentioned two well known conservative sites that wallow in this crap.

Your remarks calling me gay, athiest, abortion supporter, and all your other lies obviously stand because you are NOT a true christian. You are a liar and a trouble maker whose sole purpose is to make yourself feel superior on blogs like this. You repeatedly ignore commandments in the bible (thou shalt not bear false witness) — while bashing people you think are disobeying the bible. Hypocrisy should have YOUR name written next to it in the dictionary, as a prime example.

    • Bob Hart 20 days ago

Yet another absolutely disingenuous remark. I saw the news reports on the sandy hook conspiracies on the so-called “left wing” networks. They were very obvious in their ridicule of the people who came up with the conspiracy. They were reporting on it because it WAS a news story when you have right wing kooks calling and harassing family members of the victims in the tragedy. Like I said, if you want to be honest with yourself on this: do a google search of right wing blogs articles on the issue , search for Fellowship of Minds for starters (a VERY conservative blog whose blog owner actually originated some of the conspiracy chatter on this issue) — Look at the comments section of these articles. Leftists aren’t even allowed to post on these blogs and are constantly ridiculed there if anyone dares call them out on their nuttiness… Stop being SO DISHONEST with yourself!

    • Bob Hart 21 days ago

Just do some research. You sound EXTREMELY naive and disingenuous when you claim it must be “democrats/liberals” who said that about sandy hook. That’s about the most intellectually dishonest thing I’ve seen you conservatives say all day! .. Just do a google search of “Sandy Hook Conspiracy” ..and take note of all the listings you see, all the left wing blogs are RIDICULING the conspiracy theorists where the right wing blogs are the ones giving credence to it. How you be so completely ignorant and dishonest? I couldn’t live with myself if I had to lie to myself as much as you guys apparently do.

Like when they claim that the whole Sandy Hook incident was fake and all the parents are actors and no one died — That SCARES THE LIVING CRAP out of me because I know these people VOTE and aren’t locked up in a mental institution (where they used to put such deluded schizophrenic type people) … but you know what .. I can’t do anything about it …So I live with it.

Same here. If they are abiding by our laws then we can’t do anything about it…. About the best you could do, if you are so obsessed with this issue, is try to do some private investigative work: Perhaps you could get some recordings on tape of Muslims plotting some nefarious activity or something–then those particular muslims might be dealt with legally. Other than that – there is no legislating our way out of this issue. It’s a human rights issue and America will not repeat it’s history of violating human rights. It’s not going to happen, no way no how.

    • Bob Hart 21 days ago

I don’t need to do any “homework” on this issue. I don’t like their religion. But here’s the deal.

We GET that you don’t like Muslims. That’s already established.

My whole position is very simple. If someone has citizenship here and has broken no laws, they are FREE to do as they please just like you or I. So long as your position isn’t one of VIOLATING peoples civil rights or deporting innocent people then we are on the same page. (Yada yada yada, I know you don’t think any muslim is innocent) — but in the eyes of the courts, if they are just living their life, breaking no laws, WE CAN’T and SHOULDN’T do anything about them.

States debating gun control legislation all have one thing in common;Tax Hikes

Every gun control bill that is being considered in the States and in Washington have tax increase language in them. All the while the pols are telling us:”We’re doing this to protect you”

President Barack Obama and members of Congress are calling for more gun control. The sentiment is being repeated in State Legislatures all over the country.

After the Sandy Hook Elementary School tragedy, gun control supporters came out of the woodwork and jumped at the chance to voice their concerns about the ‘culture’ of gun violence in America.

From background checks to limiting how many rounds of ammo a magazine can hold has been suggested. In the frenzy to pass gun control legislation, some states have passed laws that defy logic.

New York passed it’s gun control legislation so fast, it wasn’t noticed until later that the 7 limit round magazine dictated by the new gun law doesn’t even exist.

The background check bill for gun buyers being pushed through the Senate now is supported by Obama, Democrats and gun control supporters as the answer to the so-called ‘culture’ of gun violence.

It doesn’t matter that criminals don’t go to gun shops to buy their firearms. Most weapons used in the commission of a crime are stolen, or bought illegally. Just ask Eric Holder. His Justice Department sold thousands of weapons illegally to criminals, one of which was used in the murder of a Border Patrol agent.

The one thing all the gun control bills in Washington and the states have in common, and which is not reported in the news, is taxes.

Every bill that has been proposed, debated and passed has had tax increases in it. It doesn’t matter whether it’s called a ‘fee’, ‘license’ or ‘donation, it’s still a tax.

That’s what this whole gun control debate boils down to. Taxes. The states are hurting from the lax economy and Washington is no better off.

After the massacre at Sandy Hook, the politicians saw a perfect opportunity to get more tax dollars out of the American people. Tax hikes have been proposed for bullets, guns, registration ‘fees’ and the list just goes on.

So, while you’re sitting there feeling all smug thinking that your congressman or senator really cares about you and the safety of your family, you might want to look up that gun control bill that’s being pushed through the state house. Even if you don’t own a gun, that gun bill might include a tax on you.

Control: Exposing the Truth about Guns

Buy eBook »

Glenn Beck is the CEO & Founder of Mercury Radio Arts. Beck is one of America‘s leading radio and television personalities, and author of #1 New York Times bestsellers in both fiction and non-fiction. The Glenn Beck Program is syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks and is the third highest-rated national radio talk show among adults ages 25 to 54. Glenn is married with four kids.

Control: Exposing the Truth about GunsWhen our founding fathers secured the Constitutional “right of the people to keep and bear arms,” they also added the admonition that this right SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED.

It’s the only time this phrase appears in the Bill of Rights.

So…why aren’t more people listening?

History has proven that guns are essential to self-defense and liberty—but tragedy is a powerful force and has led many to believe that guns are the enemy, that the Second Amendment is outdated, and that more restrictions or outright bans on firearms will somehow solve everything.

They are wrong.

In Control: Exposing the Truth about Guns (the brand-new Book of the Week at TheBlaze Books), Glenn Beck presents a passionate, fact-based defense of Americans’ right to bear arms…and in so doing also reveals why the gun control agenda isn’t really about controlling guns at all—in the end, at its core, it’s about controlling us.

In addition, this compact handbook also takes on and debunks common myths and outright lies that are often used to vilify guns and demean their owners:

  • The Second Amendment is ABOUT MUSKETS…

  • GUN CONTROL WORKS in other countries…

  • 40 percent of all guns are sold without BACKGROUND CHECKS…

  • More GUNS MEAN more MURDER…

  • MASS SHOOTINGS are becoming more common…

  • No CIVILIAN needs a “weapon of war” like the AR-15 . . .

  • ARMED GUARDS in schools do nothing; just look at Columbine . . .

  • Stop FEARMONGERING; no one is talking about TAKING YOUR GUNS AWAY.

Backed by hundreds of sources, Control gives everyone who cares about the Second Amendment the indisputable facts they need to reclaim the debate, defeat the fear, and take back their natural rights.

Check out Glenn revealing the story behind the creation of Control:

In the following excerpt, Beck parries back the arguments against “assault weapons” with facts that the media consistently ignores:

The killer in Newtown used a .223-caliber Bushmaster rifle. This weapon bears a physical resemblance to the M-16, a machine gun that has been used by the U.S. military since the Vietnam War. It’s frequently said that there is “no reason” for such “military-style weapons” as the Bushmaster to be available to civilians. But isn’t that a lot like saying there is no reason why any civilian should drive a military-style car like the Hummer?

The key word, of course, is style. The Hummer may be military in style, but not in substance. Likewise, “assault weapons” like the Bushmaster may be similar to military guns in their cosmetics, but not in their operation. One pull of the trigger; one bullet.

In truth, an “assault weapon” is whatever the Dianne Feinsteins of the world say it is. They attempt to create federal bans that identify these weapons based on their cosmetic features, like barrel shrouds, folding stocks, pistol grips, etc., but none of these things have anything to do with the lethality of the weapon. It’s almost like gun-discrimination: we treat weapons differently based solely on their outward appearance.

Fully automatic weapons (i.e., “machine guns” ) are, on the other hand, not military-”style” weapons; they are actual weapons—and they’ve generally been outlawed for civilian use since 1986. While the media and controllists don’t like the make that distinction clear, this debate has nothing to do with those weapons.

Turning the tables on the age-old canard that “the weapon itself is to blame,” Beck talks a bit about “knife control” in the wake of a Texas campus stabbing:

Not Backing Down: 8th Grader Suspended, Arrested Over His NRA T-Shirt Returns to School…Wearing the Exact Same Shirt

8th Grader Suspended, Arrested Over His NRA T Shirt Returns to School Wearing the Exact Same Shirt

Disciplined 8th-grader Jared Marcum returned to class on Monday after being suspended from school and arrested for refusing to change his NRA t-shirt at the request of one of his teachers. The shirt apparently pictured a firearm and the words “protect your rights.”

However, he apparently hasn’t learned his lesson — assuming that there was even any lesson to be learned. Fresh off his suspension, Marcum showed up to school on Monday wearing the exact same NRA shirt that sparked what many have labeled “t-shirt control.”

There were also other people wearing matching shirts in support of Marcum, WOWK-TV reports.

“There’s a lot of people wearing this same exact shirt, showing great, great support and I really appreciate it,” the student said Monday before going to school.

WOWK 13 Charleston, Huntington WV News, Weather, Sports

WOWK-TV has more:

Jared’s father, Allen Lardieri, says getting Jared back into school was his first priority.

We’ve completed the first leg of what we wanted to accomplish here,” Lardieri said.  ”Now, we’re working on the next step, which is trying to clear his name.”

Lardieri says that he was informed by Logan City Police on Thursday that his son was facing two charges, obstructing an officer and disrupting the education process. However, Jared’s attorney Ben White says that wasn’t the police department’s call to make.

“He was arrested, he was put into handcuffs, he was removed from the school and brought to the Logan City Police Department,” White said. “Charges aren’t officially filed or brought until the prosecuting attorney’s signs off on them and they don’t do that willy nilly.  They do that after a thorough investigation.”

That investigation is currently underway, according to authorities. Leading the investigation is juvenile prosecuting attorney Sabrina Deskins.

TheBlaze will monitor updates to this story.

‘Armed and Dangerous’: Beck’s Latest Revelations on Saudi National Once a ‘Person of Interest’ in Boston Bombings

For the past week, Glenn Beck has been investigating a Saudi national once identified as a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing.  The story has taken a number of alarming twists and turns, but on his radio program Wednesday, Beck released some of the most interesting information yet.

But first, here are a few background points on how the case developed:

  • A Saudi national originally identified as a “person of interest” in the Boston Marathon bombing was set to be deported under section 212, 3B — “Security and related grounds” — “Terrorist activities” after the bombing on April 15

  • TheBlaze received word that the government may not deport the Saudi national — identified as Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi — as the story gained traction on April 18.

  • Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano refused to answer questions on the subject by Rep. Jeff Duncan (R-SC) on Capitol Hill on April 18, saying the inquiry was “so full of misstatements and misapprehension that it’s just not worthy of an answer.”

  • An ICE official said April 18 that a different Saudi national is in custody, but that he is “in no way” connected to the bombings.

  • Key congressmen of the Committee on Homeland Security request a classified briefing with Napolitano on April 22

  • New info provided to TheBlaze reveals Alharbi’s file was altered on the evening of April 17 to disassociate him from the initial charges

  • Sources say April 22 that the Saudi’s student visa specifically allows him to go to school in Findlay, Ohio, though he appears to have an apartment in Boston, Massachusetts.  A DHS official told TheBlaze Alharbi properly transferred his student visa to a school in Massachusetts

  • TheBlaze sources reveal April 22 that Alharbi was put on a terror watchlist after the bombing, and Napolitano confirms he was on a “watchlist” April 23.

Glenn Beck Releases New Info on Saudi National Once Considered Person of Interest in Boston Bombings

A photo allegedly of Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi in the hospital.

On his radio program, Beck began with an overview of how the case unfolded, noting that Alharbi has rapidly gone from “person of interest, to witness, to victim, to nobody.”

Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano even said yesterday that Alharbi was just “in the wrong place at the wrong time” and was “never a subject,” after ridiculing inquiries into the matter last week.

But Wednesday, Beck presented new information after a Blaze source directly read the original event file, and multiple government sources with knowledge of the case and files contributed their knowledge.

Napolitano could serve “jail time for perjury,” Beck declared, and she will be “the first to fall.”

Here are a couple of new points, as Beck related them:

  • At the time the event file was created for Abdul Rahman Ali Alharbi, it indicated he was “armed and dangerous”

  • Alharbi was admitted into the country under a “special advisory option,” which is usually reserved for visiting politicians, VIPs, or journalists.  The event file cover page indicates he was granted his status without full vetting.

  • One of the first excuses given by law enforcement when confronted about Alharbi’s pending deportation was an expired visa.  But according to the event file, his visa is good until 11-NOV-2016.

  • The event file indicates he entered the U.S. on 08/28/12 in Boston, MA but says he is a student at the University of Findlay, in Findlay, Ohio.  He has an apartment in Boston, and doesn’t seem to have been a full-time student in Ohio.

  • When a file is created in the system the author(s) are notified via email when it is accessed, and given the email address of the person accessing, so there is a record within the government data system of who deleted them.  It was amended to remove the deportation reference, then someone later went in and tried to destroy both the original event file and an amended versions.  Copies had already been made.

  •  The original event file was reviewed and approved by two high level agents – Chief Watch Commander Maimbourg and Watch Commander Mayfield.

Here is the text of the cover of the event file, which reveals still more:

DOB 03/12/1993

Subject is an exact match to NO FLY TPN# 1037506192. Derogatory information reviewed by W/C Mayfield and CW/C Maimbourg was found to be sufficient to request Visa revocation. NTC-P is requesting revocation of Foil# e3139541. Subject is inadmissible to the U.S. under INA 212(a)(3)(B)(i)(II). SAO was not completed prior to Visa issuance. Subject is currently in the United States, admitted F1 student, at Boston POE on 08/28/2012. Subject is a student at THE UNIVERSITY OF FINDLAY, 1000 NORTH MAIN STREET FINDLAY, OHIO 45840-3695. Subject has One (1) prior event #1648067, Fins promoted, NT record in place, No scheduled found at this time.  [Emphasis added]

And here is a photo of the page:

Glenn Beck Releases New Info on Saudi National Once Considered Person of Interest in Boston Bombings

(Photo: TheBlaze)

Beck explained: “Subject is an exact match to that no fly order.  That means, we have been presented bad information…and it was reviewed, and found to be sufficient.  Subject has One (1) prior event...When they opened this when he was at the hospital, they found he’s already in the system!”

“A 212, 3B is from the Patriot Act…It is the biggest warning we can put on anybody,” he explained for those unfamiliar with the term.  “You do not put people’s name on there easily…this is a terrorist designation, and there is a panel of agencies that you have to go and make your case to.  It’s not like you’re standing in the hospital room and they say: ‘Make him a 212,3B.’   And if they are, they’re abusing their power….It is so rare that somebody’s name is taken off outside of death, that none of ours sources can tell us that it’s ever happened.  It is laughable what Janet Napolitano said yesterday.”

Certainly, a litany of questions remain.

Was Alharbi considered “armed and dangerous” before the Boston bombing, or at it?  Was it related to something they found at his apartment?  Was his prior “event” from the days prior, at the bombing, or was it from an earlier period in his life?

Moreover, how was he admitted into the country under a “special advisory option?”  How many students receive that privilege, particularly without property security clearance?

In Beck’s estimation, the entire situation at the least amounts to an alarming lack of transparency, and at the worst, an abuse of power and cover-up.

“This is not about this one guy,” Beck noted, “but by the way — where is this extraordinarily dangerous man?  Ask that question, you’re not going to like the answer.”

“That’s what TheBlaze is releasing today,” he continued.  “Once they explain away all of this, if you want to continue to discredit me, you will discredit yourself but more importantly, you will put the citizens of this country at stake.”

BREITBART by AWR HAWKINS (MY TWO SENSE: If enforcing existing gun laws were important to Progressives, and if gun control for the sake of “saving just one life,” this might mean something to the Constitution and Second Amendment haters. But since the real agenda is a national takedown and usrupation of all we hold dear, it doesn’t mean a damned thing. Progressives, including this President, Eric Holder, and all the other Obama appointed czars, despise the ground on which We, the People stand, and their hatred stretches to include every freedom loving American. Their gun control push centers on the term “assault weapon,” and if that term is used to ban certain guns, the meaning of the term will broaden to include every defense weapon we have. Why is the term, “assault weapon” used rather than “defense weapon?” Ask yourself, and then never again allow use the term of assault weapon; replace it with this descriptive label, “Defense Weapon!” JM)

Report: Boston Marathon Bombers Broke Gun Laws to Acquire Weapons

Less than a week after the push by Democrats push for more gun control went down in flames in the Senate, Reuters is reporting the suspected Boston Marathon bombers ignored gun laws that are already on the books in possessing the firearms they used in shootouts with the police.

According to Reuters, “The two brothers suspected in the Boston Marathon bombings, who police say engaged in a gun battle early Friday after a frenzied manhunt, were not licensed to own guns in the towns where they lived.”

This means the handguns and “at least one rifle” the brothers had with them were acquired and possessed in ways that broke laws already in existence.

For example, to have acquired and possessed the firearms legally, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, the elder brother, would have first needed “to apply for a gun license with the local police department where he lived in Cambridge, Massachusetts.”

In Massachusetts, a Firearms Identification Card (FID) is required before buying, transporting, or possessing a firearm.

Another example of how new gun control laws will not deter criminals who have been ignoring the old laws for years.

Understanding of the following subject matter will be enhanced by the reading of the preceding “Contemporary Illustrations…”

After being elevated to the educational level of 18th century Americans, in some areas, thereby understanding more how things should be, by the foregoing, read the common sense ‘Summary and Conclusions’.

The Saving of America

The Sermon From The Mountain

How can this be possible you ask?  All of the foregoing pages described certain areas of our society and how they have been destroyed by permissive ignorance on your part.  You have allowed all the usurpation’s previously mentioned, and more, to occur because you thought it was better to be ‘enlightened’ and ‘understanding’ rather than to actually have to know such unprofitable and boring things like history, law, economics and government etc.  And you thought it was better to be ‘enlightened’ and ‘understanding’ rather than to actually have any sort of responsibility for your behavior especially regarding your children and their actions.  And you thought it was better to be ‘enlightened’ and ‘understanding’ rather than to actually have any sort of moral discipline in your life.   And heaven forbid if you actually had to get involved in local matters to do ‘your fair share’ to keep your end afloat! You say you have allowed elected judges to be replaced with appointed ‘friends of government’ judges.  You say you have allowed local sheriff and police departments to seize private property as they wish.

You say you have allowed the warrant-less seizure of children by government to ‘protect’ them in government foster homes and detention centers.  You say you have allowed the government school system to train yourself and your children in the etiquette of an immoral ‘global village’, while fostering ignorance of a true identity and heritage as Americans.  You say you have raised your children in a manner eschewing time honored traditional methods yet you are appalled by teenage violence.  You say you have allowed all forms of degenerate behavior to become not only ‘acceptable’ but encouraged ‘laws’ to be passed forcing those behaviors to be tolerated in public.  You say you have allowed laws to be passed that enable government to test your children and from the outcome determine their professional career path, thereby relieving you from the task of having to train them in diligence and work ethic.  You say you have given up rights to self defense and the carrying of weapons so that you would not have to spend time becoming proficient and then maintaining proficiency, let alone risking your life to defend someone you do not really love as much as you love yourself.

You have embraced all of the government’s propaganda on the increase in your future safety if government has all of the guns, then you applaud all of the unconstitutional and undeclared bombings and killings carried out by government in the name of peace.  You say you have allowed powerful trade unions to form in the medical and legal professions that so protect their guild and its members that any person traveling from another western country to here is absolutely appalled at the lack of service these guilds actually provide compared to their home country equivalents.   You say you have allowed government to form military organizations, that are more brutal and unlawful than any gangster organization, to inflict death and destruction at will upon smaller nations, and then you wonder why it is someone would want to launch terrorist attacks against American civilians.  You say you have allowed government to categorize you into selfish and hateful little sub-groups and countercultures so that you may be more easily overwhelmed than if there was one body of people called Americans.  You say you are perplexed when a disenfranchised member of some such little hate group sells valuable information to America’s traditional enemies, and stand idly by when government dismantles our military.  You say you have allowed government to regard some peoples lives as more valuable then others by calling attacks upon the select few as ‘hate crimes’.

You say you have allowed government to expand its dominion at will and create dozens of departments it has no authority to or any real need for other than political power grabbing.  You say you have allowed unelected petty clerks in these bastard branches of government make up their own rules and regulations and then enforce them with eager police departments, without so much as showing a single line of their regulations to Congress for the proper enactment into law.   You say you have approved of and encouraged the Individuals Representing Satan because somehow you believe you can get back more ‘freebies’ from government than monies thus stolen can purchase on the free market.   You say you have encouraged and applauded all the TV shows and movies that promote degenerate life styles and choices so that your own depravities may be made to look acceptable.  You actually believed the usurpers were wanting to overthrow this nation only to the extent that once your depravity comfort level was reached they would stop their progress because they are from the government and they are here to help little old special sub-group member you.  You have bitten off your nose to spite your face.   You have bitten the hand that feeds you.  You have set loose a gold fringed beast whose ways you do not understand and whose actions you do not control.  You have left the gate open and all of the cows have escaped.  And then you forgot to learn and apply the responsibilities and duties of a freeman so the Men in Gray have come and taken the farm.  “What can we do?  There is a lion loose in the streets devouring all he can!” you wail.

Is all lost?  Is there no hope?  Can you only stare at your impending doom like a deer on the road caught in your headlights?  What justification does a person who has participated in the overthrow of the foundations of this country, for his own selfish ends,  put forth as cause for someone else to rescue his cowardly, selfish life?  What justification can such a person, who is indeed a Traitor, put forth for even the notion that he should be rescued, that he is even worthy of rescue?  Under what principle can this occur?   Is it the common law that such liberals and communists have banned from the courts?  Is it under some magical power of the Constitution that such liberals and communists have sought to bury?  Is there some principle in a law that is not obeyed that it can be summoned from the grave at select times, to rectify problems caused by disobedience to it?  Can you take a lion’s quarry from him if he is still hungry?   Of what value to a freeman is the life of a Traitor?  What compelling force would require the freeman to rescue the Traitor from the monster the Traitor unleashed?   Is there some portion of the Communist Manifesto which requires all not yet subjugated to it to rescue those that have been imprisoned by it?

What hope does such an undeserving person, who squandered the most precious attribute of life, liberty, for his own selfish ends, have?  Does it seem likely that such weak, selfishly divided people could rally all of their little identity sub-groups en masse and force their Congressmen to reverse their ways?  How much more ludicrous is the thought that such a person would dare publicly admit his error by forming/joining a legitimate militia!  So what hope is there for such a person who is being devoured by the monster he unleashed when he himself is unwilling and unable to even defend himself, and the ones he does not love, much less destroy the beast?  Certainly the beast will not hesitate at the thought of devouring those who set him free.

How ironic that the very people whose way of life the Traitors sought to destroy, by being willing accomplices to the usurpers, are the only ones with the integrity, virtue, honor and courage to even contemplate such a thing!  Fortunately these people, the Real Americans, who are the Real Americans by conviction of heart not by birthplace, do love God and country before themselves.  These Real Americans who were my forefathers did not shirk from going up against the biggest army in world.  An army who was equipped with weapons that civilians were forbidden to own. (sound familiar?)  It is these people who are descendent from our forefathers by blood and or heart that will do the job, again.   And no others.

So the next time you see some Real American publicly decrying the Fed/IRS, the UN, gun control, abortion, sex education, promotion of depravity etc, and you happen to realize that he is right and you are wrong, check your tongue and do not condemn him, and encourage your friends to do so.  If, when you see that  Real American and you feel and understand that the issue he is promoting is essential for the country’s well being, smile and wave your support to him, and encourage your friends to do so.  If, when you see that  Real American promoting his cause and you can feel the pain that this country has suffered because of the turning away from the principle he is expounding upon, run up to him and shake his hand and tell him “Once I was lost, but now I am found, once I was blind but now I can see.” And encourage your friends to do so.

If on the other hand when you see that  Real American and your heart rages against him because he is exposing as falsehoods some non-existent rights that you claim are your defense for your depraved behavior, watch out!  John F. Kennedy in 1962 said this about such people as yourself “Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.”  For there is a time to tear down and a time to build, a time to kill and a time to heal, a time for war and a time for peace.

Angry Obama: Failed Background Check Amendment a ‘Shameful Day’ in Washington

Angry Obama: Failed Background Check Amendment a Shameful Day in Washington

Getty Images

A visibly angry President Barack Obama declared it a “shameful day for Washington” after a group of senators successfully blocked an amendment to expand background checks for gun-buyers on Wednesday, but vowed that it was “just round one.”

Flanked by families of victims of the Newtown, Conn. massacre and by former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in the White House Rose Garden, Obama said a “minority in the U.S. Senate” went against the wishes of an overwhelming majority of the American people.

“Families that know unspeakable grief summoned the courage to petition their elect leaders,” Obama said. “A few minutes ago, a minority in the U.S. Senate decided it wasn’t worth it. They blocked common sense gun reform even while these families looked on from the Senate gallery.”

He said that while “a majority of senators voted yes to protecting more of our citizens with smarter background checks,” a minority of members were able to use a “distortion” of Senate rules to derail it.

The amendment had been the bipartisan effort of Sens. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) and Pat Toomey (R-Pa.) — “a Democrat and a Republican, both gun owners, both fierce defenders of our Second Amendment with ‘A’ grades from the NRA,” Obama said.

“Instead of supporting this compromise, the gun lobby and its allies willfully lied about the bill…[they] claimed it would create a ‘big brother’ gun registry,” Obama said. He said the “pattern of spreading untruths” about the legislation served a purpose: to enrage a vocal minority of gun owners.

He said the opponents of the amendment had “no coherent arguments” about why it should be harder for criminals and those with mental illness to buy a gun, but that senators “caved to the pressure and they started looking for an excuse, any excuse to vote no.”

Obama said there will be some who will call the amendment’s failure a victory.

“A victory for who? A victory for what?” he asked. “All that happened today was the preservation of the loophole that allows dangerous criminals to buy guns without a background check.”

Obama had been introduced at the podium by Mark Barden, whose 6-year-old son Daniel Barden was slain at Sandy Hook Elementary in December. Obama said he has heard some refer to the Newtown families as “a prop” and “emotional blackmail” when they lobbied members of Congress

“Are they serious? Do we really think that thousands of families whose lives have been shattered by gun violence do not have a right to weigh in on this issue?” Obama asked.

He vowed that the fight for more gun control measures is not over, despite the setback.

“All in all this was a pretty shameful day for Washington,” Obama said. “But this effort is not over…we can still bring about meaningful changes that reduce gun violence so long as the American people don’t give up on them.”

He said that if members of Congress won’t listen to the American people, they’ll have to hear from the voters come next election.

“I see this as just round one,” Obama said. “When Newtown happened I met with these families and I spoke to the community and I said something must be different right now. We’re going to have to change…I believe we’re going to be able to get this done. Sooner or later, we’re going to get this right.

Texas Police Dept. Provides Statement to TheBlaze on Vet Arrested After ‘Rudely Displaying’ Rifle (Plus, a Texas Firearms Attorney Weighs In)

Texas Police Dept. Provides Statement to TheBlaze on Vet Arrested After Rudely Displaying Firearms

There could be more to the story surrounding a decorated Army veteran who was arrested after being accused of “rudely displaying” his rifle during a hike with his son, but the police aren’t willing to provide their side of it. For now, anyway.

“The charge is pending prosecution with the county attorney’s office,” the Temple Police Department said in a very short statement provided to TheBlaze on Wednesday. Temple is located in Bell County, Texas.

Police Sgt. Gary Smith told TheBlaze that they would not be releasing any other statements or commenting on the matter any further. “That’s it,” he replied after being asked if he could provide any additional details.

In case you missed our initial story, Army Master Sgt. C.J. Grisham, who told his story to Glenn Beck on the radio Wednesday morning, was on a hike with his son in a rural area of Temple, Texas, when he was suddenly approached by a police officer. Grisham, a concealed carry permit holder, was carrying a .45-caliber pistol on his waist and open carrying an AR-15 semi-automatic rifle. Texas does restrict open carry of firearms to an extent, however, the restriction does not apply to “long guns.”

Grisham told Beck that he regularly carries the rifle while on hikes in rural areas to combat rattle snakes, coyotes and hogs. It has never been a problem — until now, he said. The Army veteran was reportedly detained prior to being accused of a specific crime and later arrested and charged with resisting arrest.

He was not charged with any gun related crime.

According to local authorities, Grisham was “rudely displaying” his firearm, and “people are alarmed” when they see weapons like the AR-15. “They don’t care what the law is,” one of the officers told Grisham, referring to the individual(s) who were alarmed by the rifle. You can read TheBlaze’s full report on the incident here.

Watch the video below:

To get a better — and objective — understanding of the details in the case, TheBlaze reached out to Justin Flint, a Texas firearms attorney with Pursley McNamara & Flint, PLLC in Missouri City.

After insisting that there could be more to this case than what’s shown on the video, Flint said it doesn’t appear as if Grisham ever resisted or failed to comply with the demands of officers. The police were within their right to investigate the situation after receiving a 911 call, the attorney explained, but an officer still has to have a reasonable suspicion that a crime is being committed or could be committed at a later time before detaining a suspect in the first place.

“There are certain things that one might be advised to do when dealing with police officers and you are in possession of a firearm,” Flint told TheBlaze. “I always advise people to make an officer feel as safe and comfortable as possible. But just because that’s good advice doesn’t mean that has to be done.”

Texas Police Dept. Provides Statement to TheBlaze on Vet Arrested After Rudely Displaying Firearms

(Photo: YouTube)

In Texas, concealed carry holders are required to disclose possession of their firearm and provide identifying information as well as a valid concealed carry permit to police officers, Flint explained. He also noted that police are within their authority to disarm Texans while questioning them in order to ensure the safety of officers involved. The firearm must be returned unless they determine a crime has been committed. It’s unclear whether Grisham’s firearms have been returned to him.

But if someone in Texas is “carrying a long arm, a rifle or a shotgun, that is legal in the state of Texas… So there is no real probable cause there for a stop or for the police to detain any person for any amount of time,” the attorney added, speaking in generalities in regards to the law.

Grisham was first charged with resisting arrest, however, the charge was downgraded to interfering with a peace officer while performing a duty. Flint said if he were defending Grisham, theoretically, he would likely push for a case dismissal, based on the facts that are known at this point. He again insisted, though, that more facts may surface that could change the case dramatically.

“Based on the facts themselves, if there’s not evidence that he was resisting in any way or trying to interfere with what they are doing, then this would be a case that would be suitable for getting dismissed,” he added. “Whether based on lack of probable cause or lack of evidence to detain or arrest him.”

TheBlaze’s Erica Ritz has reported on some additional details concerning Grisham’s background:

To be sure, Grisham has his detractors. For the past several years, he and fellow prominent military blogger Michael Yon have engaged in a war of words over the Internet. The two have repeatedly questioned the integrity, valor, and and service of the other. TheBlaze will be following up on this issue in the future.

But regardless of his past, the treatment of Grisham’s son deserves to be investigated, Beck said. Police took the boy home after Grisham’s arrest. And though Grisham warned him not to answer any questions until his mom was present, police allegedly wouldn’t let the boy out of the car until he spoke.

TheBlaze will continue monitoring this developing story and add any relevant information as it becomes available.

Law enforcement says gun restrictions are ineffective: Survey

By Andrea Noble

The Washington Times

Tuesday, April 9, 2013

A national survey of law enforcement shows officers believe many proposed gun control measures — including bans on assault weapons — will be ineffective at reducing violent crime and that legal gun ownership by private citizens would prove a better safeguard.

Among the findings of a survey by the industry website PoliceOne, which tallied responses from 15,000 verified active and retired law enforcement professionals, police overwhelmingly favor an armed citizenry and are skeptical of any greater restrictions placed on gun purchase, ownership or accessibility, editor Doug Wyllie said.

The survey found that 91.5 percent of respondents believe a federal ban on the manufacture or sale of semi-automatic weapons would have no effect or a negative effect on the reduction of violent crime. Though a national assault weapons ban is dead in the water, numerous states — including Maryland, Connecticut and New York — have adopted or enhanced their own bans.

The vast majority of officers also believe legally armed citizens are important in the reduction of crime rates.

“It’s my analysis that by and large law enforcement officers favor enforcement of current laws and enforcement against illegal guns,” Mr. Wyllie said. “They also favor responsible, armed citizens in the midst of other civilians out there to help protect innocents from harm.”

Release of the survey, conducted March 4-13, comes at a time politicians in Congress and around the country are pushing for stricter gun restrictions in the name of public safety. The Senate is scheduled Thursday to take up gun legislation that would expand the types of gun sales subject to background checks, and impose new penalties on gun traffickers and straw purchasers — those who buy guns to transfer them to people who can’t legally own them.

Vice President Joseph R. Biden and Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. addressed an audience of law enforcement officers from around the country at the White House in support of the administration’s gun control measures. But the survey results, issued Monday, indicate a strong undercurrent in the public safety community that is critical of additional gun restrictions.

When asked what would help most in preventing a large-scale public shooting, the majority of respondents, 28.8 percent, favor more permissive concealed-carry policies for civilians. The second most popular answer, with 19.6 percent, was that more aggressive institutionalization for mentally ill persons would prevent a large-scale shooting, followed by 15.8 percent who believed more armed security would prevent such a tragedy.

Less than 1 percent of respondents believed that further restrictions on assault weapons and ammunition magazines would prevent a large-scale shooting.

When asked what impact a legally armed citizen could have had in a mass shooting such as the school shooting in Newtown, Conn. or movie theater shooting in Aurora, Colo., a whopping 80 percent believed casualties would have been reduced while another 6.2 percent thought casualties would have been avoided altogether.

As long as civilians were deemed psychologically and medically capable and did not have any felony convictions, 91.3 percent favored allowing civilians to carry concealed firearms.

The survey was publicized to more than 400,000 registered PoliceOne members and vetted to ensure responders worked in law enforcement, Mr. Wyllie said. While not scientifically conducted, the poll was an opportunity to give rank-and-file officers who Mr. Wyllie said might be dissuaded from speaking publicly on the gun control debate a way to “be seen on the issue.”

“There hasn’t been a venue from which everyday patrol officers and sergeants can chime in,” Mr. Wyllie said. More than half of respondents identified themselves as officers or sergeants, while two-thirds came from departments with 500 or fewer personnel and three-quarters said they were currently on the job.

The survey also revealed divergent thoughts on gun buyback programs, which gained renewed attention in the wake of the Newtown shooting. While police departments around the county have hosted gun buybacks, touted as a way to get dangerous weapons off the streets, 81.5 percent of respondents did not believe gun buybacks were effective in reducing gun violence.

The opinions expressed in the survey clearly don’t represent all of law enforcement.

After a recent White House gathering of police chiefs and sheriffs, Montgomery County Police Chief J. Thomas Manger told The Associated Press that police chiefs are “very supportive of the assault weapons ban.” Maryland passed legislation last week that prohibits 45 guns under such a ban, limits handgun magazines to no more than 10 rounds and requires residents to obtain a license for a gun.

In Colorado, where gun control legislation was passed last month that prohibits the sale of ammunition magazines holding more than 15 rounds and requires background checks for all private gun sales, elected sheriffs and the Colorado Association of Chiefs of Police are on different sides of the issue. The association spoke out in support of the legislation before its passage, while The Denver Post reported Tuesday that 37 of the state’s 62 elected sheriffs are preparing to sue in order to overturn the law.

The Major Cities Chiefs Association, a professional association of police executives representing the largest U.S. and Canadian cities, adopted a platform in January that supports an assault weapons ban and bills that prevent gun trafficking and record keeping of ammunition purchases.

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Charles H. Ramsey, president of the Major Cities Chiefs Association and the former chief of the District’s Metropolitan Police Department, recently acknowledged in an interview with The Associated Press that not all law enforcement personnel agree on gun control priorities.

“You’re not going to get 100 percent of people to agree on anything as it relates to gun control, and we’re no different, but a majority of people in the room recognize that something needs to be done,” he said.

New $25 gun tax begins in Cook County

‘Proponents admit purpose to curb number of firearms in circulation’

Published: 2 hours ago

(WGN-TV ) Cook County’s special gun tax, aimed at curbing taxpayer expenses tied to gun violence, kicks in Monday despite a lawsuit by firearms stores and owners to shut it down.

Championed by County Board President Toni Preckwinkle and approved by county commissioners as part of the larger 2013 county budget, the new $25 tax on each gun sale in suburban Cook County goes into effect as a larger national debate on gun control takes center stage.

In proposing the tax, Preckwinkle said she was looking for a way to defray the costs of gun violence on county taxpayers — whether it’s in the public health system where the injured are treated or the local criminal justice system.

Why Draw the Line at Couples?

March 26, 2013

Listen to it Button

RUSH: Here’s Art in Windsor, Connecticut, as we go back to the phones.  Hello, sir.

CALLER:  Rush, how you doing?

RUSH:  I’m fine, sir.  Thank you.

CALLER:  Look, I just think, you know, there used to be laws that said black people can’t marry white people.  I don’t think this is any different.  I mean, if you’re gay and you want to marry somebody who’s gay, marry somebody who’s gay.  That’s your business.  What is the business of the state government or the federal government telling me who I can and can’t marry?

RUSH:  You are serious with this?  You want to equate interracial marriage to homosexual marriage?

CALLER:  Yeah, I think that a person should be able to make their own personal decision.  I think actually this should be something the Republican Party should be in support of.  It’s individual rights, you can marry whoever you want.

RUSH:  You don’t have to worry, the Republican Party’s moving in that direction, it is.

RUSH:  Well, let me ask you this.  Where does this freedom to do what you want stuff stop?  And what, in your case, what would two people wanting to do raise a red flag for you?  What would you say, “Now, wait a minute, no, no, no, you shouldn’t do that?”

CALLER:  Well, I think if you were talking about like a three-party marriage, an eight-party marriage —

RUSH:  Why?  If you love one, you can love two. What if all three people love each other and they want the benefits and all that, who among us should deny those three people their love?

CALLER:  I think they can be loved, I just don’t think you need to give it a legal status because —

RUSH:  Why not?

CALLER:  Because two people would make a family, they could raise kids, adopt kids, do whatever they want, I don’t think —

RUSH:  Wait a minute.  But why can’t three people do that?  In fact, if you have two of the same sex and one of the opposite sex, you’ve handled the adoption issue. You don’t need to adopt. You can have one woman and two guys in a marriage, and the woman could be impregnated by the two, and, voila, you got a family.

CALLER:  I don’t see that.

RUSH:  You got a lot of love and what could possibly be wrong with that?

CALLER:  I think society’s determined that two spouses, two people —

RUSH:  Well, wait, society’s determined, you know, by the way, human civilization, from the beginning of time, has determined that marriage is a union of a man and a woman.  The Republicans didn’t do it.

CALLER:  Right.

RUSH:  Conservatives didn’t do it.

CALLER:  Right.

RUSH:  Churchill didn’t do it. Margaret Thatcher didn’t do it. Gorbachev didn’t do.  It was humanity which did it.  You just said society has determined that — well, society has determined that marriage is between a man and a woman, but I don’t think society’s right in that case.

CALLER:  No, no.  I don’t agree with you.  I think society has evolved away from that.  I think the people in general think that you want if you want to marry somebody you should be able to marry them.

RUSH:  Well, someday society is gonna evolve away from marriage by two people and could be three or four, and you’re gonna oppose that then for some reason. You’re gonna deny those people their love.

CALLER:  Yeah, I would.  I would oppose that.

RUSH:  Why?  I don’t understand.  Why would you discriminate that way?  What does the number matter when we’re talking about love here?

Nor do I understand the reasoning here, of the caller. The caller said that our society had evolved away from one man and one woman definition of marriage, toward including same-sex marriage, and that it was not the business of  society to say otherwise.  If that’s the case, then what will keep society from branching out even further to include one car and one man marriage or one horse and one woman marriages?  (I swear that I kid you not when I say I have knowledge of a man who is in love, and sexually involved with his car!  If marriage is based upon love, and we are evolving toward acceptance of the atypical, then we must allow these things.)

The real issue is that evolution is not always a good thing, and it doesn’t always strengthen a species.  Sometimes evolution takes civilization into a degenerative state of devolvment.  Absolutely nothing will stop the human event from sinking into debauchery, depravity, and every other ID-centered, behavior without moral restraints guiding it.  My perspective on same-sex marriage is a traditional one and not for the apparent reason.  I hold no moral objections against homosexuality because I firmly believe that sexual orientation is stamped on man’s DNA even before birth.  In the most candid of explanations, I believe that the homosexuality gene is either an anomaly or a natural result of the evolution of man and pertains to his survival.  Because like-gender, homosexuals are not capable of reproducing between themselves, I understand this as a natural occurrence in evolution–a form of genetically driven population control.

For eons the word “marriage,” has been defined and understood to mean a moral, civil, and legal covenant between one man and one woman, following a ceremony performed by a qualified individual.  If the goal of the gay and lesbian communities was to legitimize and legally protect his/her life-partner in the same ways marriage laws protect spouses, then this could very easily be done with the invention of a new term, with a specific definition and meaning, such as “life-partner union” or “single-gender union.”  The label doesn’t matter when the agenda honorable.  But equal under the law was never the actual goal of these people, and by “these people,” I mean the money group behind the push for this new kind of “marriage.” The real motive was to decimate yet another layer of societal values and mores.

Much of the gay and lesbian population did not want to be a part of this movement and would have been satisfied with laws that guarantee the same legal protections that marriage provides for a spouse.  The Progressive movement never publicly displays its true agendas.  For example, on the surface, the word “progressive” seems benign in both meaning and application.  If it weren’t for progress, we never would have moved beyond the Inquisition.  However, this movement operates covertly, and what is said is not what is meant–black is white–up is down–Orwellian across the board.

Progressives always advance and continually increase their control over the lives and liberties of mankind for the good of the élite rulers atop a New World Order.  Regardless of their claims that they work for the good of the whole, it’s really all about them.  Progressives despise the average person, view themselves as far beyond the intelligence of the citizenry, and want to significantly diminish our numbers.  The ultimate agenda is to completely dismantle ways of life across the planet, hence, the United Nations Agenda 21 and the United Nations Arms Treaty, the two most vile, corrupt, and terrifying carrots ever tied to a stick.  Yet, there are Stalin’s “useful idiots” who chase after those carrots certain that the former will bring us Hilton’s “Shangri-La” and the latter a world without violence.  Go figure!
